    This is awesome. I hope to see this grow, there’s so many possibilities. I’ve been curious to see if people had been working on anything. Good showcase.

      It's a great start, thats for sure! Lots of work to be done on it, tools and method aren't anywhere near 'public ready' and the ship itself is as you'd expect, pretty janky. But... it works, and that's more than anyone was expecting at this stage.

    Custom ships / mod support would improve the game sooo much. It's great to know there are talented people working towards that goal, and to see they're making actual progress is nothing short of awesome

    This sort of thing is hopefully going to bring new life to this game for years to come, super excited to see where this community rabbit hole goes

    I would also not mind seeing thing go the other way: Bring Shipbreaker's ships into other games. KSP 1 would be the choice for me, in that these parts could be converted or replicated with appropriate mount points so they could be built in the game. There's no pressurization, but it'd be really cool to see them in another game. And in KSP, they'd be configurable/rebuildable as well.
    I'd love to fly a few of these beasts.

      The ship is all the work of piepieonline, I just flew around it making a video! But I'll pass on the encouragement.

    Can't wait for someone to add the Enterprise and maybe a Klingon bird of prey.

      Unfortunately, that's going to be a long way off. Presently, the only ability there is is to use the pre-made assets in the game files. External asset import (and have it work like a shipbreaker ship) is another thing entirely that needs to be addressed.
      (Also, pretty sure these ships would be too big to fit in the technical restrictions of the game engine)

    In terms of gameplay stuff, does this new shap act as a replacement of vanilla class, or can you basically flood the rooster with seven million different ship types?

      At the time I made this video, it overwrote whatever would appear in the bay. Progress has been made, and now you can add multiple different ships to the Freeplay menu. It's still very early in development as a tool, so I can't say what the final outcome will be.

      Maybe, but do remember this is just an example ship made to show that the tools are working. The designer does not claim to be good at design, and is mostly working on tooling so others can start building ships themselves!
