This was the ride me and my younger brother would ride all the time when we went to Playland, good times.... It was at least considered the less scary alternative for me than the playland plunge!

For a small local amusement park, this is actually one of the better log flumes out there. It even has a cave that replicates a coastal cove tunnel, and it now has signs giving safety instructions in the type of idiom that loggers might use back in the day. The drops are actually good enough to give you a nice soak by the shoreline added to by the damp air and fresh ocean spray smell. That is when it doesnt smell like stinky fish poo. It can happen! but yeah two great drops and a cave plus a fast paced rapid filled layout. How could you go wrong

The flume is built and designed by O.D.Hopkins by far the best water ride company out there. I have ridden many of their flumes and a good splash is a trademark. Playland Plunge is another ride by them.

Thanks for the video, I don't think I've ever seen a POV of this flume.
I always felt bad about the workers on flukes. Just sitting watching people go by. Just seems like a dull job.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Its more a great job but the attendance at the hill and tunnel would be rotated with those in the station. Many flumes even have nice covers to keep the employee out of the sun. When I'm not filming I always make a point o say hi and buy on my way past.

The last drop looked fun. However, the ride could really do with some theming.

It could use some more. The rock work is great. and there is some solid landscaping. But yes a few trees would be great.
I was surprised by the amount of small details on the ride knowing that a Roller coaster once stood in this spot and it was basically an open field it was added into. but a little TLC is definitely needed. Step one Pint!

They should really have some warnings to remain seated at all times.😂

You should go back to Storyland!

It's on my to-do list. They converted the African Safari to a dino safari so I want to check that out as well as the new neighboring aquarium.
