No, my friend! Enemies of lore accurate Vergil don't even realize when they are hit and already dead - remember blood demons and Beowulf in DMC3? Blood demons would be cut in half midair and when they fall they start to fall apart, same thing with Beowulf. Beowulf charges Vergil, Vergil leaps, slices his head in 4, and lands on Beowulfs head. As Beowulf is still speaking, pieces of its head slide off of its neck...lore accurate Vergil is a meatgrinder.
