This is the most powerful depiction I've seen of the devastation. It must have been heart wrenching to film the second walk and combine the footage. Thank you.
I truly can't stop crying 😢 I just can't watch any more media for a while. Born and raised in Hermosa Beach and now living in Dubai for the last 30 years and I am now 61, and I visit California always... I am just so so sad for everyone. Bless all those affected by this horrible fire 🔥 🐦 so so sorry. I wish to give a huge hug 🎉 to each and every one of them ❤
So so sad I feel so sorry for anybody that was injured and total loss on my geez it’s just devastating😢 I do have to say though excellent camera work the side-by-side comparison. It really shows you what is lost unbelievable.
Hopefully a STRICT city code/ city council will ensure the charming, and character-filled downtown is rebuilt……..NOT horrible big box retailers like Walmart, or Dollar stores!!! Bring back the Spanish, and Mediterranean architecture, and restore what can be saved!!!
@ Yes, I COMPLETELY agree!! …..But after all of this chaos, who knows what will happen! …..Hopefully the STRICT city codes for businesses and architecture hold firm.
@@eddieg6436 There isn't even a Walmart close to the west side of Los Angeles. They could never allow one in the Palisades. Have you ever been there? Do you know the area?
@ I know the area, and the city very well. Grew up in Calabasas, college in Glendale and Northridge. Lived in Studio city, Encino, and Manhattan Beach. (I parked cars at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 1988, and 89.). I’m well aware of what the city is like, the good areas, the bad areas. My fear is since most of Pacific Palisades is ash, developers, and big box retailers will force themselves in, ruining the charming town. Hopefully the city aesthetic codes, and city council will continue to ban these retailers from moving in.
hope they go about testing for severe cloud seeding example Silver Iodide in the use of high concentrations of these particles that are known to cause fire hazards!! for a fact I don’t believe that it’s harmless as the results are clear in our face!
It's annoying to see houses gone, but the stores on the corner still up. Damaged heavily, but it's annoying that the same standard isn't applied to residential builds.

Amazing synchronization. Very informative.
That was so beautifully well done! If my heart weren't so broken for those families, I'd save it to watch as a fine example of videography.
Excellent synch showing raw reality of the devastation
Wow that took a lot of effort! Thanks for sharing!!
Glad no annoying music or narration.👍
Very well done. Thanks.
It’s like they new something was going to happen. Who else would walk around documenting this area months before it burns down.

Well done!
Prayers for all who have been impacted.
It's like walking through a dream
No credit given to the channel that posted this first? Just slap your little water mark at the top corner and call it "ABCs..."
There's a name in the upper left
You right....in super tiny lettering thats clearly easily missed compared to the size of thiers...@Ellaloveslofi
@2BigFooted Totally agree, they should have given the original video bigger billing!
It’s so sad to lose such beauty.
Watching the same cars is so heart wrenching
heart breaking 💔💔

Walmart or Dollar stores in Pacific Palisades? That would be almost as devastating as the fire.

@@eddieg6436 Hopefully, that won't happen. The "former" Pacific Palisades would *never* allow it.
Pacific Palisades looks like a warzone.
Poor people 😢
