@@NojoNinja The difference with Fortnite scrims and CSGO/Valorant scrims is the tactics. There's alot of different strategies going into this, where to place it, play it by playstyle within the team etc. In Fortnite, there's an open map so strategy isn't the same, mechanics are more important than the team against team strategy - Because none of the games are essentially the same. In this game, utilizing the map as strategically as possible while working against the enemy teams strat is key. Also, map is the same every time, no random weapon drops or based of RNG.
I know alot of people wont know who he is... but Volcano is one of the best (CS) players in history... Designed half a dozen maps still in use today... and was part of the first few super teams in CS

Csgo was not introduced to China till 2017 and by that time the market has been taken over by a few other fps games like crossfire and what not. Fortnite is almost non existent. Pubg was the only game that’s quite popular there and I’m pretty sure the Koreans dominated an international tournament in 2018.

Cypher is so good for that, not expecting a tripwire and running into it at the worst time or even not seeing it because of smoke is basically a death sentence. I think people will get better at shooting his traps and camera with time though. Same with Sova, his recon arrow has insane potential to allow for wallbangs, but it can be countered easily if not used well.

What's nuts to me is that some of the senior devs would have been teenagers or almost teenagers IN 2000. They're 30-40 years old now, and they are absolutely BEAMING streamers like Shroud, who are technically still in their mid-20s gaming primes. Volcano is 33, for example. Nick Wu is the youngest on the dev team at 27, and I think the oldest member of that team was nearly 40.
@Apollo I think it is a decision that they have made specifically to limit confusion. They have made the graphics as sharp and have made the contrast so high that you will not mistake people for walls or objects. That is probably why they reduced the graphics.

I do pretty much the same. I dislike easy wins but when it's close match or if I lose it makes me want to improve even more and figure out new ways to be better. People say "gg" on onesided matches, I say gg on close tough matches that could have gone either way. Actually now that I think of it, I rather would be on team that is heavily getting stomped to try figure some way to come back or improve than be on a team that stomps the enemy team.

They made godbraltar, he had everything in the game and more, while characters like mirage were in a bad spot since day one of apex but hasn't been touch or at least enough do change that, it's sad cause for me the game had a great potential but the nerf and buff made no sense at all
He is reffering to THAT match specifically，not the game itself. You can still play solo and outaim people in regular pubs. Same goes for cs，even in fpl people rely on aim rather than teamplay.
This comes to show just how important having map knowledge and experience is... it applies to any game you play. Having that knowledge and experience can win you a game over somebody with incredible accuracy if you can play it smart and keep your head straight

That would be absolutely beautiful. I remember one of the devs saying that they've spent way too much time in their own bubble playing against each other. But now that it's out for (almost) everyone, either the players need to catch up to the devs' strategies or the other way around.
To be fair, they've probably been playing this game for at least a year. EDIT: I'm not discrediting the devs, all 10 players in these games were amazing, but the difference is that one side has been playing a lot longer and actually made the game. Also, Volcano is nuts
nah the devs they where playing against are game tester devs meaning there fps pros, plus they where executing every ability they had perfectly and absolutely destroying shrouds team.
I don't think it's as long as u think. They probably spend a lot of time actually building the game and leave the testing to other people. So no excuses, they're simply just good.
I like the fact that in the first match Shroud was so confident that play Jett to outplay them, then in the second match he thought that they have to be more tactical and play the support/revive Girl and in the last one they are trying not to be stomped by the devs with any character
I like how the devs pull of the nastiest coordination they show you that the combination of the ability is useful and how much it can switch the game up

This stream was insane! Had a side by side going. Was watching summit at first, then saw shroud started streaming. Was going back and fourth until they ended up playing same team against the devs. This was honestly so cool to watch!!

I'm a Sova main and I always see people use him and just shoot arrows randomly, I trap people in spaces where there is a line of sight then I explode them with shock bow, it's really simple and hard to counter
Volcano also made like half the maps in CSGO and is one of the best CS pros in history. Shroud was literally a little kid when Volcano was winning CS majors
I thought Sova was kinda going to be useless cuz his arrows looked so easy to counter, but the dev showed otherwise. They literally could not hide from him.
Emmanuel Goods Ive Played sova a Bit myself. You more creative you are with the arrows and the better timing you have with them, the harder they are to counter. Especially combined with teamplay(smokes)

This comes to show just how important having map knowledge and experience is... it applies to any game you play. Having that knowledge and experience can win you a game over somebody with incredible accuracy if you can play it smart and keep your head straight

That would be absolutely beautiful. I remember one of the devs saying that they've spent way too much time in their own bubble playing against each other. But now that it's out for (almost) everyone, either the players need to catch up to the devs' strategies or the other way around.

Emmanuel Goods Ive Played sova a Bit myself. You more creative you are with the arrows and the better timing you have with them, the harder they are to counter. Especially combined with teamplay(smokes)
