People clowned Whitney relentlessly for calling him the King of R&B. Now everyone is saying it. She loved him so much she was willing to dim her light to make sure he had a chance to shine.
I wouldn't say he the King of R&B but he's a classic. He only had one album. R Kelly is currently the King of R&B.

@Cynthia Dickerson. Actually, Ricky has publicly acknowledged/confessed that he was hitting that Coca powder for many years. But overall, we should collectively be proud that these guys didn't go apeshyt crazy & tank (die prematurely of overdoses or some other tragic situations). Now it would be nice if these four straightened out their relational issues with Ralph & Johnny. [SEE Ricky's interview with DJVlad-TV if you're so inclined].
Ya know! They danced sooo much better than anyone else back in the day. So now they don't dance exactly as well, but still better than everybody else and they're in their 40s & 50s. If they keep fit, they'll be doing this in their 70s.

God had to help me back then so I really heal. You heard him say that God is still working. NONE of us have it all together.
God has not started working on that man. When God truly enters a person it makes a difference, this was a performance, a show.

The word of God does state that you can strive for perfection. Meaning the closer you get to god others around you can see, hear and feel the difference. He's been thru so much. Lost so many people that he loved and yet he's still standing here today. Cuz God is good all the time. God is telling him I'm here with you watching you. It's not your time.
