    Allison, your videos are always amazing! I do have a tip you might like or maybe another one of your viewers might find helpful. When you use you texture stamps on your clay, you press down with an acrylic block and also use your fingers to get your deep impressions. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, so I can’t use my fingers so I use a lightweight plastic rolling pin from the dollar tree! It rolls across the entire stamp and adds the needed pressure without hurting my fingers! *of course it only works with the thin, Unmounted stamps.
    Once again, excellent tutorial! Thank you for thinking outside the box!

    I made these for Christmas as ornaments for my family. While it took me a bit of time to figure out the best way to use the magnets, eventually I figured it out and the ornaments were beautiful! Thank you so much for all of your videos!

    I have been watching you for while and you have me hooked on making these beautiful pieces filled with different techniques. I am very new to this fantastic world of resin working with jewelry, I've used 2 part resin working with miniatures and had no interest until now. I have ordered my materials and I am broke but I it will be worth every penny. I will continue to study your video on applying resin and thank you so much for taking the time to sharing your knowledge ⚘⚘💝

    Would Essee gel nail polish work on the clay? They don't need the UV light to set up. They have a base coat and top coat that makes them last

    Wonderful video. Can I use regular resin to seal these or do I need the up resin? Because I don’t have any up resin stuff. Plus do use a dedicated toaster oven for this or just your regular oven? Have a wonderful day

    • @ThinkingOutsideTheBox
      @ThinkingOutsideTheBox  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      sparkle5ms Thank you 💜
      You can finish off with regular 2 part resin also 😊
      I use a dedicated table top convection oven but you don’t have to, you can use your regular oven to cure the polymer clay.

  • @lindafodor7565

    Thank you so much for the great tutorial. I am VERY new to this so excuse me if this is a stupid question. In your Color Shifting Cabochon tutorial you had us cut out our shape and bake it for 30 min. then paint it and then finish baking it for another 30 min. In this Color Shifting Ornaments you cut out the shape and baked it for the full hour before painting it. What determines a full bake vs a half bake? Thank you again. Your tutorials are wonderful 💗

    • @ThinkingOutsideTheBox
      @ThinkingOutsideTheBox  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Linda Fodor Thank you 😊
      I consider one hour a full bake where your piece will be fully cured. You can do them either way, this time I just chose to cure fully before adding the effects.

    These are wonderful! About the UV Glitter Geel Polish - I'm in Finland and can't find any of that brand for sale. Can I use another brand? How do I know which nail polish will hold up on polymer clay in years to come? Does any glitter UV nail gel work?

    • @ThinkingOutsideTheBox
      @ThinkingOutsideTheBox  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      shaairah Thank you 💜
      Any brand will work as long as it’s uv gel polish that requires uv light to cure. Regular nail polish on polymer clay is not good and can ruin your pieces over time
