Alison...I swear...I now watch your videos when I need to calm down and chill out and relax...You have such a sweet, calming, soothing effect on me...You're so awesome!
Wow i’M SUPER INSPIRED. I’VE JUST STARTED POLYMER CLAY FROM HAVING A hugeSTASH OF STAMPS FROM PAPERCRAFTS AND I’M SO INPSIRED TO DIG THROUGH THOSE BEAUTIES. THANKS FOR SHARING.
I have watched many videos and yours are just miles ahead of the others!!! As an eager beginner I am so very thankful, and will confidently ( lol ) proceed!!!!
These are gorgeous! I love the colors, pattern, and textures. The eyelets are genius. I have slowly been amassing supplies but have no time to create. I dream of doing crafting full time, but afraid to let go of bread and butter job as I live in a high cost area and I am doing everything alone. For someone dreaming of starting this career full time in their 60's, what advice do you have? I am not sure I would like mass production or fulfilling orders, shipping, and running to the post office everyday. The creating is what I love. I was in a craft show once but no one came so it was 2 full days of sitting there in the wind and a day of prep before going. Zero income. Just wondering what to do to make enough for a mortgage and expenses? I am a big fan and hoping you could let me into your thoughts - good and bad. Thank you!!!
WOW, absolutely gorgeous pieces! Thank you for a wonderful, detailed, fabulous tutorial. Being new to polymer clay this has inspired me to really get creative!
So glad to see you back!!! Beautifully crafted and designed pendant and buttons. Your tutorials are very inspiring. I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy. God Bless you all.
I love that technique! The buttons are wonderful. I have grandchildren and would love to make buttons for some of their outfits. Can these be washed and dried or are they strictly decorative?
WoW, I really like all the steps you do. They all come out so beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your video with us. I appreciate all you show us. You have so many different ways of doing things. Which helps me very much in making my jewelry for myself. Thanks again ❤️
What a fun and relaxing technique! Oh, and not that it's any of my business, but the way you finished the tear drop pendant made my heart so happy! I agree, it didn't need distressing, and the copper eyelet was the perfect finishing touch! Also, I have been looking for a way to finish a small box for my son in law, and I think this is what I was waiting for! Thank you again!
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox Well, it's got to be better than the last one...it has wound up being called "The Ugly Box", and is, from now on, to be the place where all the ugly thoughts get put. Lol
So excited to see you posted a video; missed your videos so much but this is so worth the wait. Gorgeous as ever!! What a stunning technique and such beautifully finished pieces. It's spooky that I have only recently been looking for eyelets or grommets to finish some polymer clay earring components 😀 wasn't quite sure how to do it, so this has given me inspiration. What size eyelets did you use here? Love the colours 👌 Thanks for such a great video and hopefully see you again soon. Stay safe and Stay sane!! 🤗😊

2:45pm if you don't want to have to keep cleaning your pad of paint just shake them up and remove the top - stick your finger in the paint in the lid & proceed - then all you have to clean is your finger😊 tips tips
Love these!! Thanks for sharing this cool effect! I’ve not tried that type of thing to such a degree before so I appreciate the inspiration!💜 hope you&family are safe&healthy!💜
Oh Allison, they all turned out so beautiful!! I'm so happy to see you back again, I've really, really missed your videos. I hope RJ Crafts are doing better, I wasn't able to donate a lot but suppose every little bit helps. ♥️

I love that color combo! I don't have the same products, but I am going to try to get the same look with what I have. Can't wait to try it later tonight! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for another wonderful video. Those are gorgeous and so are you Ms. Alison. You are so kind to share all these wonderful ideas. But, where's Pumpkin?
I love the boho pendants and the colors are awesome. I liked the way you explained that we could use UV resin instead of what you have in that ball jar. I realize it's a problem I have is getting all the materials needed oh, and just when I think I have everything I could possibly need, up comes something else. I don't have the acrylic paints that you have that same to have a pearlessence to them. Can any type of acrylic paint work or is there anything else you could think of that would work in its place? The same goes for the patina paint. What is it exactly and is there anything that can be used in its place that we may have already from some of your other tutorials? Thank you. I enjoy your tutorials very much Alison.
Diana Barclay Thank you Diana. The Dylusions are acrylic paints and the Ranger Patinas are opaque inks. Any acrylic paints you have on hand will work just the same. 😊
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox Looks like the Patinas are for permanence on metals too. Thanks for another introduction to a new product line, I can't wait to try it! ^..^~~~

So just a quick question...If you want the distressed look for these pieces...can't you just wipe away the paint when you put each color on like you do in other videos? Also...why use Vararathane instead of resin?
On these I was going for a patina look and these inks dry very quickly 😊 I chose the Varathane to keep the texture, the resin would have filled the recesses.
Jim & Laurie Hoy Im sorry, I wish I could. I have checked everywhere and it looks as though every where is now sold out. Ranger is the direct dealer of these Patinas, the link I posted, so hopefully they will be back in stock again soon.
Allison your pendants are very beautiful but I think that the resin would bring up more your beautiful colours because this one does not have any sheen on the screen
Lilette Autrey Thank you Lilette 💜 I chose not to use the resin on these so I could keep the texture. 2-3 coats of glossy Varathane has a really good shine to it. Camera must not have picked it up :/
Allison. To make your holes in your buttons consider using a corn cob holder. The 2. Pins are perfectly spaced for them!

Does the varathane come off when it gets wet
No, but you don’t want to leave it submerged in water. It’s water resistant. I suggest using several coats of Varathane, each coat adds more luster.
