Gozaisho ropeway - KOMONO/YUNOYAMA ONSEN

Famous for hiking, Mie's Mount Gozaisho is the perfect place to enjoy the changing seasons, complete with a ropeway that leads to a number of attractions at the mountain's summit.

Been there once in Autumn and once in Winter. Both were amazing experiences and quite different from each other. Mie in general doesn't get a lot of snowfall so if you don't want to go all the way up north to Tohoku / Hokkaido area to enjoy snow you can just visit this place. This place also has a ski resort during the winter months.
