I’d have been ok with that dented bathtub.
I would definetly put my food in an oven where the internal chamber is a 50yo enameled iron bathtub. That 570°F heated, old, sanitary paint will give your pizzas the perfect extra taste. Nice idea!

I never really thought about what a bathtub is made of... i always assumed it was fibreglass lol

Some bathtubs are made of acrylic resin or fiberglass. The better ones are enameled cast iron. Before that, they were made of tin. And before that, they were made of cut-down wooden barrels!

@@mastersweeps6958 true for some it still is you ever hear that North Korean defector talk? She said they take two baths a year and one is on their New Years in winter. The children are usually the ones sent for water and every year some end up drowning. Can you imagine that kind of thing?
Men with these skills and ambition with all this creativity would make for the perfect partner for me if I was able to participate in creating masterpieces like these. 🙏
I have a issue with the glue, surely it isn't heat resistant to the temperature that will be produced in that oven, secondly I have a issue with the enamel coating the tub that will burn inside and contaminate your food. Or am I missing something?
Nah, the enamel just gives the food some "extra flavor".
I have an enameled cast iron tray I think it'll be reet .
Enameled cookware was very common when I was a kid back in the 1950's and I'm still functioning okay nearly 80 years later . . . 🥸

Just goes to show with the right tools the sky's the limit.
And this is why I call the local pizza joint for my pizza, so much easier.
Although 99 percent of take away pizza joints produce food not fit for pigs. Depends on what you can eat I suppose
And less nasty fumes on it making it taste like the smell of a home depot

Идея нууу как бы,а вот на практике дурость,поясню:эмаль которой покрыта ванная при нагреве выделяет ксилол,яд страшный,так шо кушайте...

I do have one question, what kind of mortar did you use? I know many aren't very heat tolerant, so I assume it was a form of thermal cement mixed with a compound like vermiculite?

Yeah they over looked that it would seem
They also wont get that wood fired taste as there is no wood smoke going into the cooking chamber
You have to turn it back in to a bathtub to clean out the ash......

Very Nice idea. Better to allow lower section to.open all the way to clean out old ash.
Wood fired pizza oven work better with steel doors, i have made a few sets, in commercial settings there is usually a counter in front and you can't work there with your back to an open fire.

but I m sure that there is something you did not explain, like the curved plywood on top (the horizontal cut along it to make the plywood become curve easily 😊
Saw kerfs, common technique. Use pi to calculate smaller distance of inner radius , then check width of cut your saw blade to plan minimum number of cuts & distance between cuts.
I think that's fibre glass insulation stuff we have in our roofes between the joists 👍🏽
