idk if you will see this but as a list mod I can tell you the reason silent clubstep moved up was because doggie beat it and said it was harder than slaughterhouse, allowing silent clubstep to move above it as 2/3 of the mutual victors of both levels agreed that it was harder. (and now 3/4 ever since trick beat silent clubstep recently) I know this is late but I hope this clears it up.
Really hate it when people call the list "dead" or "ruined". Like the list would be dead if it was so fucking inaccurate that clubstep becomes a top 3 demon. Most people arent even good enough to play the top demons so they cant rlly be saying the list is dead. Top players have more of a reason to say this as some top players heavily disagree with top demon placements. Also i saw some guy on twitter saying that the demon list being "ruined" makes people leave the game lol. Like just play levels you enjoy.
I have not tried those demons for obvious reasons and I have not even passed one of the easiest extreme demons, much less will I do so with the top extreme demons. For me, a level like bloodbath was the most healthily difficult thing there could be in the game and now that the difficulty is already bordering on those unhealthy limits of skill, it even seems somewhat unfair to me since in order to make a level very difficult, an exaggerated difficulty is made that It feels artificial.
Yeah I hate the top 3 now, it was good in my opinion, when it was Acheron, Slaughterhouse, and Kyouki, now we have Avernus, an incohesive pile of shit due to the new host only using the level as an excuse for creator points, and Silent Clubstep, a nerfed impossible level verified by one of my least favorite people in the gd community. Although, in my opinion, the best top 3 of all time is Tartarus, The Golden, and Zodiac.

Of course difficulty is subjective, but because of this, you could literally beat a layout that was harder than Acheron and get a new top 1. Sakupen circles looked harder than slaughterhouse, and yet some Tartarus sequel buff dethroned it. Such is the way of gd difficulty, and a good analogy is shown in Moldy’s video about extreme demons. The skill ceiling is nonexistent, but the skill is rising in such a way that each level will just barely edge out the next. This definitely shows that. However, I am glad that silent clubstep is still swinging, as it’s technically now the 1st top 1 to be verified by a member of the trans community, and/or a woman.
