Humanity in general has not lost its minds but that corner of the world has for sure been a pretty bad place with a lot of people behaving irrationally for a long time. (Yeah, I know you'll bring up the Russian war on Ukraine, as if Russia was that much different recently, etc.) The long term trends fortunately show a decreasing number of hostilities around the world. So this, for now, is not the problem with humanity in general. Had we acknowledged that we built modern Israel on stolen land and that 750,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled, had we made some effort at reparations? Even though I'm an Israeli I honestly feel bad for the innocent civilians that will suffer because of hamas' actions, but no matter how unfair and tragic what's going to happen in gaza may be, after all that's happened there are no two sides, there is no grey, no one has the right to compare and argue about who is right. there was a photo online from the broken border fence showing how close was the festival to the border, few kilometers or less, imagine being in Gaza and seeing people party and happy few kilometers away while you suffer and hunger. I have never heard of a concentration camp with armed militants, missiles and terrorists. Gaza is not a “concentration camp.” It’s a community of violent terrorists. That’s why Egypt has a wall on their Gaza border, too.
@@HeatherRose2023 The reason Egypt has a wall on their border with Gaza is, that when the egipcians elected democraticaly a goverment that was sympathetic to the people in Gaza, we (the west) backed a military coup that cuased unseen death and opression in this country......and ensured a goverment aligned with Israeli interests.

Hamas's attacks are horrific, as are the retaliation strikes and blockade of food, water, and medical supplies for more than 2 million people. Had we acknowledged that we built modern Israel on stolen land and that 750,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled, had we made some effort at reparations? Had we treated Palestinians with the same rights as we treat Israeli Jews, had there been one law for all people, as taught by Leviticus 24:22, it is much more likely that so much of this violence could have been prevented.
This was a terrorist attack by Hamas! Their intent is to destroy Jews not to work towards a solution!

Israelis are just Jewish Palestinians who founded a country and fought a war of independence against Jordan, Egypt, etc to defend it. Thats why Israelis stopped calling themselves Palestinians in 48 and issued their own Israeli passports. The Palestinian flag with the big Star of David became the Israeli flag. The biggest Jewish newspaper changed its name from the Palestinian Post, to the Jerusalem Post. The lies you believe are the same ones that motivate Palestinian Nationalists to commit the atrocities we’ve seen here. I don't know why you lie when you know that Israel is lying and even the news of the killing of children in Israel was a lie. Your President Biden was lying to you and has no evidence and you are incredibly unjust. I don't know how you sleep without feeling guilty because you support Israel, which is currently killing children.
Even though I'm an Israeli I honestly feel bad for the innocent civilians that will suffer because of hamas' actions, but no matter how unfair and tragic what's going to happen in gaza may be, after all that's happened there are no two sides, there is no grey, no one has the right to compare and argue about who is right. Israel was brutality attacked and will do what it must and even if civilians will unfortunately lose their lives Israel is still in the right, I just hope they will do their best to avoid civilian cassualties.
Also I support the two state solution and to be honest, Believe that the conflict is not so much black and white as much as some people would like to claim, but let me ask you this: forget for a minute about justice, forget about the wrong doings of the west and the evils of colonialism, if there was only one option to who rules the land, who do you prefer? barbaric savages who would have build just another arab autocracy which would have been run as we've seen in the last weekend, or civilized liberals who might have less claim to the land but they would make a democracy and would actually develop the land they live in? That's a no brainer for me. This is a hard one, the land belongs to the Palestinians, the British gave the best parts to the Jews( mostly the Europeans ) after the holocaust. There should have being a two state solution. Visited Israel, I was shocked to see that it’s basically one land mass. This is hell, I think there aught to be a better solution, but how will it turn out. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem as a Christian, I still pray for the safety of the peaceful people on both sides of the conflict.
