hi there, I'd just like to tell you that I have been watching all of your TH-cam videos and how much I appreciate the in depth you go in each detail. thank you so much for being such an awesome artist. kim m from VA.
Fabulous idea! In fact I have been working with various jewelry findings and scrapbooking materials in order to create a bezel setting for the gemstones I have. I have a thing for rings so I'm always searching for new ideas on how to set faceted gemstones. And I'm not a huge fan of the very popular wire working bezels so that's why I am trying to find different ways to set a stone to create a ring. Thank you so very much for posting this wonderful video!
Very cool ideas!!!! I'm definitely going to purchase these items from your store & give this a go!!! I usually bead the back of my rivolis with 15 or 11 sead beads when I work with these crystals, I've beaded the backs of fhem with either 15 or 11 seed beads. I was told that eventually the coating on the back of the crystals will eventually wear off over time & distort the color of the crystal off left unprotected. I was told by my very experienced & bead store owners to use a coat or 2 of "Hard as Nails" clear nail polish on the back of these crystals as protection. Just some friendly advice that was passed down to me. I've never had a problem with any fading or chipping in my experience with these rivolis using this method. =) Thank You so much for your time & effort you put into making this video for us!!! I know I'll be trying it. =) Alanna

Hi! You can purchase the large Swarovski stones from us, Beaducation.com Here's the link: www.beaducation.com/shop/crystals-beads-swarovski-rivolis-chatons-c-9_553.html
Yes, the filing does do a great job of finishing the bolts. If you tried firmly to undo the bolts they would probably come free. If you're worried about the bolts coming loose, you could always rivet the ends a bit to flare them.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!
What size are the hex nuts and bolts? They are no longer available on the website and I’d like to see if I can find them elsewhere.😊
The outer diameter of the nut and the top of the bolt are 2.5mm. The bolt fits in a 1.5mm or slightly larger hole.
you are realy pretty and talented :)
Where did you get the tiny brass bolts, nuts and washers. I cannot find them online anywhere.

Just wondering what else could you sandwich in-between the two washers? Not real crazy about the crystal with the washers.
+Jeannie S Hi Jeanne! Thanks for the question. You could use a large cabochon, or a found object. Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
cool ideas. Where did you find such a large Swarovski though? I have looked but can't find any that large.

We carry these at beaducation.com! www.beaducation.com/shop/beads-crystals-swarovski-rivolis-c-9_553.html

where can you find the tiny nuts and bolts, and that type of hex wrench?
I looked at the address provided to see a list, but there were just many other things, and nothing about this project.

Do you think the filing down of the excess bolt will stop the nut from coming loose?
We file down the edges to remove any burs and smooth out the metal. Make sure to tighten pretty well to keep everything in place.

what size stamp did you use for this I see you sell different size stamps... so what size would you have to purchase to make this?
+Joshua Young I would suggest 2mm-3mm letters.
Where do you get the washers? The ones I purchased at the hardware store where to hard to stamp into.
