When ever I meet famous people I never talk about their work or anything related to it. I figure that their job and who wants to talk about work with someone you just met or even know? There’s better things to talk about. In Jimmy’s case it was long ago. I know we did cardio in LA and Vegas as I lived in both city’s and he was working gig’s in Vegas. That’s probably what we talked about, Vegas & LA. I really don’t recall anymore. My friend saw him 2 years at dinner with some other comedians and said he was great. I said “I know”. 😀

Don't know about PM and the syndicated, but it did happen once on the daytime Match Game...the circumstance that made it happen was the male champ went 12 games (lousy luck in the Super Match), and a male contestant was in the cycle...
My first thought was "baby" ... and I match Brett! I always say that if I were a contestant, I'd pick Brett (or maybe Charles) for my head-to-head match! I did think of "Lady Finger" because that's come up several times as the answer to a cannibal question.
I shouted out foil immediately, then siding, but pots?! I think it's the thoughts around Ten Thousand Dollars that keeps echoing in their minds preventing them from thinking clearly.

Brett had the most matches for the regular with 14 and gave away 1,500 dollars in audience match matches. Marvin Hamslich won for the semi regulars with 4 matches. Richard gave away 11,000 dollars in head to head and audience match matches. Jody gave away 500 dollars in an audience match match.
Oh shut up and stop hating on Brett every single episode. You do remember one episode you said that you take back every nasty thing you have said about her right but I guess you're a sad little person that has forgotten that.
It just goes to show that in most cases, whether it was here with Brett or with Richard or whomever, the contestant is usually the one with the bad answer. Of course, sometimes they both give good answers or bad answers, but if it's a loss, it's probably the contestant's fault.

Did you ever notice Match Game never put two men against each other. It was either a man and a woman or two women competing.
