June 2024 Update: This unit has stopped draining and as a result moisture builds up on the coils and ices up. The auto defrost feature no longer seems to be working. If you purchase this model make sure that works before the 1 year warranty expires.

Just a heads up, after 3 years of using it mainly in the summer months, my capacitor broke for the compressor. Simple fix really but that is a part that takes a beating when powering on/off.

How does this compare to the homelabs?

They both do a really good job. I would just pick the one that's less expensive and where you want the exhaust to come out

How is it that you're reviewing this Frigidaire dehumidifier one month ago and saying you've used it for 2 years, but then you reviewed a Homelabs dehumidifer 9 months ago and said you'd been using for 5 years?
