I bought one from Ebay for $23 and installed one like this way and works really good..I also have mbc,dv valve, and boost gauge all for less than $95 .I'm now running 14 psi boost..zero problems..runs better than when it came out of factory. 107k miles..
Hey cool vid. I have a 2002 Passat with the same engine as your a4. I want to do an air intake as well. Do you think doing a similar setup would be worth it? The only thing I’m worried about is making a DIY cold air intake into a hot air intake by mistake. Lol
Superwacky1 thanks man! I’m not sure to be honest with you I’m not very familiar with Passats. Just look around see if you have found anyone that’s done something like that. Personally I’d just go with getting an intake.
Mr. Boosted wow. Fast reply. Yeah I’m probably gonna do an intake. I don’t think my Passat has as much boost pressure as your a4 so I might not hear the turbo and DV as much. I will be doing a tune and getting those numbers up! 😄
@@superwacky1358 that which which makes the Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t difficult as far as intake kits go is that there really isn't a company that makes a legitimate complete one. It always comes down to some sort of modification hacking away at as opposed to direct replacement. Is your Passat AWD?
What's the breather filter for?
This guy sounds like he trains dragons
I think you are just seeing too much movies of dragons "
The kit seals against the hood making it a true cold air intake, btw the stock airbox works very good so I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.
What is the correct size of Air intake filter and the breather filter??

How do you make the breather filter fit or stay in place?
OK I did mine but I am having a hard time with what vacuum line goes to what after my labels fell off
Did you replace the dv valve? 😧
Sounds hella good nice job 👍🏻
mikey vapes thank ya!
So I got a 1.8t vw Passat awd what upgrades should I do first
mikey vapes I would do exhaust, intake, blow off valve or splitter valve, intercooler, then tune
Okay thank you keep up the videos bro
What brands of those should I get ? Could you like pm me or something
Any CEL light once installed 🤔
Miguel Leal no sir
@@mr.boosted9983 thank you 🙏💯
Where can I get the tiny filter
Fun fact spectre is actually k and n, same parts and material. K and n actually owns spectre but the only reason it’s cheaper is because is off brand
What part number is the cannon air intake??
Where did you get the little inlet from
