The composer Cathy Zawacki was my sister's roomate for several years. I sang this song at my mother's funeral. One of the dancer's from The Lighthouse danced this that day. The Lighthouse (a Christian performing arts group of The Word of God in Ann Arbor, Mi) performed this for many years. They choreographed a glorious dance for it.
I remember this song from long ago. But, I cannot remember the artist I first heard sing this. I haven't been able to find that version. Does anyone know who else sang it besides T. Hamilton and Church in the City? I thought it was Matthew Ward, but I cannot find a copy of him singing it. Can anyone help me?
I just found your video and enjoy your version, but do you know of any other artist who recorded this song? I first learned of it back in the 80's and I have thought all these years that it was a song Matthew Ward recorded, but I cannot find a copy of him singing it or any proof he did. I remember a single male voice and it was ever so slightly different than your version. Can you help me?
I remember this from the 70's when I became a Christian.
Some wonderful praise songs came out of Ann Arbor community in the late seventies, including I believe "I Am the Bread of Life" spirit filled songs!
