It’s interesting seeing someone actually not like Harvey’s voice lmao seems like that’s what a lot of people love about her - makes her stand out and adds more spice to their songs.
Regarding Harvey, I was the same. After hearing Cocona and Maya go super hard on Tape 2 Harvey's voice was jarring. But the more I listened to it the more I didn't mind it. Then I watched Tape 1, where Harvey went hard, and I was sold.
I felt the same about Harvey at first; her tone is definitely growing on me. I still don't think I could listen to a whole song by her but her rapping parts here and there are chef's kiss. Shooting Star is still my favorite of them, but this song is super close 2nd.
I know they are all Japanese, but based on all the jpop I know, XG sounds way closer to kpop imo... regardless, they are killing it and I'm glad to be a fan

I hope international fans support them after all the hate and xenophobic remarks they get from performing on korean live tv. Imagine being one of those girls and reading comments like, “eww i hate you go back to japan🤮” and “why are you here we don’t even care about you” It’s kinda sad really. 😢
its always people that dont really matter and its usually a lot less of them than most ppl think, they just whine the loudest, i try as much as possible to avoid the drama of the music industry and straight up avoid any video or post that contains the word "netizens" i view that is a word ppl use when they want to be shitty and have a make believe group behind them to dodge backlash
BTS received a lot of hate when they debuted, too and they did fine making all that money. Lol I know XG will do fine too. Those haters are probably going to end up being fans later. Lol
i think its great the way they did the subtitles, for anyone that is just getting into them can easily know who is who. i think little things like that go a long way
I'm a 30 year old dude, and they immediately caught my attention with how incredible their choreography is. These girls are talented, and not only that; it's clear that they absolutely LOVE what they're doing. There is no weak dancer in this group, they're all amazing. The only thing that kept me from being a fan is that I didn't like their music. When I first heard this song I got goosebumps as soon as the R&B beat kicked in, and Jurin started sing. This is the type of music I've been waiting for with these girls. I've listened to this song nonstop today. These girls need to appreciated more. They're next level. Japan out here killin it in the Kpop scene. 😎 Thanks for the review, guys. It's nice to see guys around my age appreciate Kpop talent. Also, Chisa, and Jurin are my favs. In my opinion Jurin is the most charismatic idol in a girl crush group. She absolutely OWNS that camera.
