Honestly tippy toes almost feels like pre-debut at this point. There was such a huge jump in production and promotion with mascara. They didn’t even promote tippy toes other than on TH-cam and other social media until after Mascara. I feel like it was literally just tryna leave us on our toes and not know what to expect going forward. But alas, stan XG 🎉😂
I think XG's dance performance will be even more surprising.

You’re not lying. STAYC, FIFTY FIFTY and XG captured my heart too. You know you’re struck by it when you’re smiling without noticing it, and also when you forgot to breathe lol.
Whoever is producing them is doing a fantastic job. What I see is fashion from the '90s and '00s. The beats are layered beats from the '90s with a 4th gen twist. The most unusual thing with them is they have the ability to maintain the East Coast US cadence when rapping from one language to another seemlessly. They don't have the Kpop or Jpop sound either. XG is not trending in Korea like here in the US. They're being prepped to be released on mainland USA soon. Oh btw we saw the "girl crush renewed" look on ya 😁
Yeah, I think the company should go heavy in a N.A. push. I don't know if they have a USA record distributor, but they should get one if not, and get that going. I think they could do very well in North America.

Left Right the B side to Shooting Star the live stage is a must. Maybe it's my favorite song.
XG was a group that came with a new concept of music combination they are the first Asia R&B and hip hop global group but they do combinations with styles of k and j pop too. The unique about this group is that they sing in English and their music is free to do combinations they are directly pointing to a global audience. The can speak Korean Japanese and English but yes they are Japanese , people are not informed yet about the main genere of XG but with time they will know more about them

Oh man, i was only a lurker in your channel before (for RV), but I'm very happy that you've found XG! Thanks for reacting to them! They're neither KPop nor JPop... They classify their music as XPop (haha) in one of their more recent interviews. I think their genre is a mix of hip hop and rnb.
Some of the other comments have already mentioned it, but there's a live stage for the B-side for Shooting Star: Left Right. It's soooo good. Other than that, the vocal line (Chisa, Juria, Hinata) have covers up on the XG youtube page, including an amazing cover of Peaches by Chisa and Juria. The rap line (Jurin, Harvey, Maya, Cocona) has an outstanding rap video called "Galz Xypher" as well up on their channel. They have dance practices and dance covers too and as a public service announcement i have to this say now: those are lethal. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING DANCERS.
I strongly recommend watching series of Welcome to My Party videos. it's like their introduction videos.

What's great about XG compared to previous kpop idols is not only its vigor and visuals, but also its groove, vibe, and sophistication, and its music is extremely complete.
FYI -- their leader JURIN, is a professional Snowboarder! As far as content to experience: Definitely CHECK OUT their current "B' SIDE: "Left Right." Also, if you are into RAP, they are creating quite a buzz with their skills. Check out "XG TRACK #1: Chill Bill (Jurin & Harvey)" and "TRACK #2: GALZ XYPHER: Cocona, Maya, Harvey, Jurin." These are their basic rap line. Their other Pre-Release content are all really great -- like their Dance performance series (named: "Move") and their vocal line series (named: "Vox").

On some if their videos, like XCypher (the 4 rappers). They sing in Japanese, Korean and English. If you liked these, that one will blow your mind. They have some good content on their channel. Even before they debuted. Happy viewing. Oh, they call themselves a Global group.

How I got into XG… I am in Japan, so on release day Tippy Toes was all over TH-cam ads. I was waiting for the 5-second skip button and they went TaTaTa and I have not looked back since. Have not been that shook by a first listen of a new artist since Alicia Keys’ Fallin.
The "fixed" versions of the dance practices are the best way to see their incredible choreography, transitions, and synchronization.

I was lucky to have tripped across "Tippy Toes" months ago, and I'm so glad I did. The depth and quality of their talent and the care their producers are putting into the music is just gold. Also, check out some extra MV/Channel releases, where the members break off into quickie solo / mini group things. Just stunningly good.

As far as interesting facts: Maya and Cocona are 17 years old which is bonkers for how polished and talented they are. Also Jurin (the leader) is a medal-winning snowboarder originally, which is just crazy cool.
Check out any of their choreography videos to see just how good they are as a dance group too! In particular, they do the CLEANEST relay dances I’ve ever seen.

Shooting star and left and right take me back to jpop from late 80s and 90s and also Japanese hiphop, r&b from that time too so many good memories and music, jpop idols now is very different from the old Japanese but XG is bringing back all of that.
I would also recommend you check out their Rap Xypher "Tape 1&2", their Dance "XG Move" all of them, and their Singing "XG Vox" vids again all of them, it will give you a much better understanding of just how incredible these ladies are

They are a global group based in Japan. All members are Japanese but its not kpop or jpop. Its a global group. Many people think they are kpop bc they promote in South Korea but theyr are not LOLL
XG is a Japanese idol group that is heavily influenced by American pop, but uses Kpop aesthetic hahahahha I don't know how to feel about it, but I can't deny that they sound good. I just don't want them to sound toooo Western.
I can get the kpop aesthetic in tippy toes and mascara but the last comeback is 100% real Y2K and Harajuku style so even that's 100% true
