Ustaad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan is an institution of Hindusthani Classical Sangeet. We are fortunate to listen to his masterpiece technique and presentation of 'Ragas' with his sweetest voice.Pranam to Tansen of Hindusthani Classical Sangeet.
timeless mahadeva music, this supreme ("A love supreme" , J.Coltrane) , divine singer, what else can we western people say, constantly explores the limits and exceeds them, like the stormy raindrops on my window today
Waaw!!! What a rendition!!!👌👌👌❤️❤️ एक तो ये राग है हि ऐसा की कोई भी गाए.. और यहां तो स्वयं बड़े गुलाम अलीजी की प्रस्तुति... वाह!!🙏 धन्यवाद सिद्धांतजी 🙏
Such genius! Easy flowing taans, melodious aalaps, takes one to another world, a beautiful musical world! This is music to die for! Life is worth living just listening to such heavenly music! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
True.... expected that legacy from Raza Ali Khan.... unfortunately cudnt carry that baton as same as Rahat Fateh Ali cudnt carry the baton of Nusrat sahab
@@Sudip_Banerjee in my mind it is a combination of relentless 'riyaz' and raw talent. It is clear, even when Raza Ali Khan was singing with his father (MAK), that he just did not have the same quality. And if you watch any of Raza Ali Khan's videos in his grown up years, you will see glimpses here and there of what might have been, but overall simply substandard singing. Karamat Ali Khan's sons, Naqqi Ali Khan (I think that is his pic on the video) and his brother Mazhar Javvad Ali Khan were true to the tradiiton and sang quite nicely. I love lstening to their early stuff - true purists, But the generation after that is simply embarrassing. And on the Pakistani side, the same thing happened after the great Fateh Ali Khan (who was indeed the last real torch bearer of the gharana). His son, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan had a really fine voice and training when he sang with his father, but that too deteriorated. Fateh Ali Khan's cousin, Hamid Ali Khan also had a wonderful voice and command, but it also deteriorated quckly. People give them wah-wahs but the standard of listeners now a days is also at an all time low. People will say wah-wah to anything. Sad to see the demise
@@anindochoudhury8926 who are the best living khyal vocalists in your opinion? i'm thinking Kaivalya Kumar Gurav, and perhaps Fateh Ali Khan of Gwalior.
I take him as the best and top hindustani classical master who was forced to give his voice in acouple of films like Mughal-e-Azam , a super hit, Baiju Bawra or may be in Sangeet Samrat Taansen from where people learnt about his magical throat and flexibility of notes ! he is still the greatest even today ! unbeatably immortal through his more than perfect renditions ! He made Indian classical ragas world famous !
Naushad first approched bade khan for his baiju bawra in 1951 for the voice of tansen, but ustad right away refused..he don't wanted to sing in movies, then only naushad went for ustad amir khan for tansens voice, and junior dv paluskar for baiju Bawra.

sudipta chakraborty his voice has always been this mellow and saccharine...never rough or harsh unlike other patiala gharana vocalists and that is what makes this rendition of hamsadhwani so special....after having heard tons of hamsadhwanis this comes across as the sweetest .....such swara manipulation inspires a mysterious aspect to hamsadhwani that was never delved into....

What a nonsense criticism from sudiptha chakraborty
In carnatic '" vatapi ganapathim bhaje" is the famous composition in hansashwani
Nonsense sound.
