Yeah, the eclipse was very cool! I actually saw the eclipse today! I was in the totality path. Unfortunately it was cloudy.. so I couldn't see the eclipse itself. It just got very dark for a few minutes. Of course, the clouds gave way and it's sunny now.. after the eclipse is over.. 🙄
This one of the best patches by far. The game looks 100% more beautiful, realistic, and alive. At least by the videos I watched. Also, I think now with those antlers the deer could defend itself against small predators and juvies, not being aggressive like boar, but like stand its ground and attack if close enough
I WAS WONDERING when bucks were gonna appear 🤣 tired of seeing does all the time, especially since they make deeper sounds that bucks would usually make lol. Also it would be cool if they give buck ai a similar system to sparring, where you might find two of them fighting or it might even lower its antlers at you when you get near it (if youre small that is, of course), I think that would be cool!
@@AMD_H.16 What's evil? Vomiting on meat to make it rot faster? That's the entire purpose of the mechanic lol. It has a very high cost to use it, so I don't think ceratos will be going around vomiting on everything they see.

Ah, makes sense. I thought it was due to all of the corpses and food in East Plains, but figured was something else since my fps never recovered, even after I left East Plains. The manual vomit is cool, but yeah, the cost to use it very high. Using it has to be worth it, like maybe on a dead stego body you want to steal lol
The eclipse at 6:39 was a really cool detail especially since there was an eclipse today. We need more stuff like this in the game

the lighting is definitely a major improvement. do we know what purpose the cerato's manual vomit will have?
It will speed up food rot, so you can vomit on fresh food to make it closer to rotting, this way other carnivores can't eat it.

Cera still has charge bite. Holding down right click will activate charge bite. Tapping right click over and over will activate vomit.
