    I’ve got a 04 Camry LE with almost 300k miles and still running strong

    I love my camry, but I had to drop $850 for an evaporator replacement. Other than that, it's a great car.

    I have a 09 LE, got it for 3k at 109,000 miles so can’t complain at all

      That’s a dam good deal. Here in Atlanta that would be almost 3 times that price

    Thinking about buying one of these for 4K with 180K miles on it.

      Long as you stay up to date on your regular maintenance you’ll get 300k out of one of these. Just don’t try racing it like the young lady did the 2003 blue one I sold her 😂😂😂

    The 2007-09 model Camrys with the 2AZ-FE engines have issues with defective piston rings that could lead to excessive oil consumption and could potential ruin the engine.

      Thanks for the information, however I’m sure it’s not 100% across the board due to the 10s of thousands of those year model camrys still on the road today

    Just purchased a 2009 Camry for my wife and I’m worried about the oil consumption issues everyone is talking about. I called the dealer and her car never had the pistons replaced :( should I be worried? Have you had yours replaced in this car?

    • @teammcmath-mcmathautos
      @teammcmath-mcmathautos  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought this one from a dealer auction, so I really didn’t know to much of the background on it. However I didn’t see any issues related to pistons and the only oil consumption was just leaking valve cover. The last I sold it to hasn’t had any issues up to date

    $3.5k with 75k miles is it worth it? Everything is working

    I was looking at one but abs light was on went off then came back on was like na I'll pass and engine was running rough vibrating and kinda loud valves like a 08 hyundai

    • @teammcmath-mcmathautos
      @teammcmath-mcmathautos  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These normally have an issue with the abs module getting brake fluid in them🤷🏾‍♂️. That makes the dash go haywire. Replace the abs module and it would have been good to go. As far as the rough idle could have been a number of things
