You call yourself champagne and sound like house wine 😂 Simon’s insults kill me
I thought he was actually good lmao! bit harsh but that is X factor
@@BobGnarley. same. He's actually decent.
@@Shagyamum Nothing stood out about him at all, very generic singer who can somewhat hit notes and that's about it.
Ah yes, Simon and Sharon 12 faces ago
Ya man 😂😂 THATS BLOODY FUNNY 😂
MOT to Wembley!
How on earth did that compilation NOT include ANT & SEB singing Mysterious Girl ??
"C'mon, move your body ... wo-oah".
That one is my favourite 😂
he watched another video with that in it.
They made a success of it in America! (*)
(*) According to their mum!)
yea man
Ablisa gotta be up there too 🤣🤣
Your reaction to the two girls, singing the lion sleeps tonight was hilarious. 😂
The curly haired woman is having a great time, but her friend just looks like she doesn't want to be there 😂
The other judge is Louis Walsh and his reactions frequently have me in hysterics 😂😂😂
Have you watched where he started laughing at the racing jockey? 💀
@@Rebecca_Bailey that was a car crash, had to cringe on that one
Louis Walsh is the Irish Simon Cowell. He put together many bands before the X Factor. Most notably a band called Boy Zone fronted by Ronan Keating
It's a double edged sword - these programmes (especially the early audition stages) thrive on this type of content and producers want the audience to laugh etc. but really, those going on should have at least one person who cares enough about them to say "look, this really isn't for you". The guy who said the male work colleague said he had a good voice, well clearly that was a p***take. But when close family and friends say it, they are as much to blame for letting them go through with it.
The majority of these people just go on to get on TV.
Yeah but often the family members have the same lights on but nobody home look. We really haven't moved on since the days of the Roman colosseum.
They do have for a fact a production team that auditions them before they go on the ones shown on TV, had a friend used to go to college with who went on it, never got to these ones though.
The funniest video of someone looking back at what they did on BGT was out of this world hilarious, I loved Philip Greens reaction to that lol (flapping like a seagull haha).
@jsmithmultimediatech So basically, you're a freak. Definitely getting you on. Humans suck don't we.
This cracked me up 😂 old X factor auditions are peak television
Back when we thought _The Spectrum_ was an early PC.
😅 this is the best comment i've seen so far this year on TH-cam
🤣🤣🤣you have just made me spit coffee all over myself and I don't care because that is one hell of a comment. Thanks for the laugh mate🤣🤣👍
@@Scotland_Scorpion @martindunstan8043 - heheh - my pleasure, chaps
Summed up in the best comment I've seen in ages 😂. It's so true, I mean we laugh at these clips and the judge reactions, but I think we are genuinely seeing people with disabilities being shown to look stupid. Incredible
ZX48k. I had one of those!
TV in the UK in the 2000s seemed to revel in making fun of people in this way. Wouldn’t really fly now.
Peter Kay did a fantastic mick take of this - Britain’s got the pop factor - look that up! Please - it will make you cry with laughter.
Agreed. And Peter Kay was brilliant in it.
Or piss yourself
🤣
th-cam.com/video/Bf1Hd9rX0M8/w-d-xo.html
An ex of mine went to audition for the X Factor and what they don't tell you is you have to go through a round without the camera's, or TV judges, being there.
That's why some of these people, who are genuinely terrible, are totally confused, and pissed off, when they get rejected.
The only reason that they are put through for the TV shows is because they need someone to take the piss out of, which is just cruel, especially when these people are there to chase their dreams!!!!!
The first round was with some of the producers, so they're looking at potential TV gold as well as talent
@@Charlieb82 my point exactly, they aren't just looking for the next chart topper, but the totally tone deaf to be able to rip the piss out of them. Cruel beyond comparison in my book!!!!
How long ago was this?. It seems like at this stage which must be 15+ years ago they really were seeing everyone but it was only the judges so didnt matter so much and it wasn't live so they just put a few in the show. You dont get many terrible ones since they started doing it with a live audience so definitely seems like they get rid of a lot which would make sense with what you say
If being a singer is their dream, they should’ve started a band and learned the trade. No sympathy for people who can’t be bothered to learn or practice or work at it and want to by pass all that and become a star.
@@Dreynoyeah but they’re not the sharpest tools in the box ti begin with
TH-cam is NEVER going to let these poor souls live this down. Lordy.
These televised auditions were the second audition that these people went through. My sister attended the first auditions at Villa Park in Birmingham and witnessed how bad singers were put through, simply for the comedy value, while some really good singers weren’t. My sister also failed to go through despite the fact that ,at the time ,she was a singer in a popular local band.
Yes. They are selected to mock. Some of them have needs and should be protected from such abuse.
I remember that Lion Sleeps Tonight one, I was eating my tea at the time and I spat my food out everywhere as I was laughing uncontrollably. I miss these auditions 🙂
King Boomer would glide though Any of these auditions once they heard his rendition of *_"I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN..."_*
In the UK you will find at least a couple of special people loving a bit of Karaoke at any bar. The locals always give them a big cheer of encouragement because it's funny as f@ck lol
It's so f*cking funny when Simon's in a giggly mood 😂😂😂
I blame karaoke. You hear yourself with background instruments and accompaniments and think 'wow I sound good' 😀
“Tenacity” was the word you were looking for during champagne’s performance
Chutzpah.
😂 They are definitely cheering you on in the UK during a karaoke to take the piss not because they don't want you to feel embarrassed.
too right lol 🙂
Plus the audience is usually pretty pissed too
That was probaply one of the most american things king boomer has ever said in these videos
Eric Cartman singing The Bee Gees! 🤣🤣🤣
Oh King Boomer !!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰Love your reaction so much!!!!!!
How are Queen, Baby Boomer and Pooch boomer doing????
I agree with you, King Boomer. I do laugh at the clips where the auditionees are arrogant, over-confident and completely deluded because of their ego, but the clips with contestants who clearly have issues are just cruelty disguised as entertainment.
That's the REAL British TV mate. It kicks down constantly Jeremy Kyle legitimately destroyed a generation there was a very real negative social impact that show had that just brought division.
champagne was alright
So is House Wine.
Hahahaaa Louis faces and Simons criticisms/insults are gooooold!!
Booms, the song is the "Lion sleeps tonight" sung by "Tight fit" lol...........i have the vinyl, we my elder sister left it with the rest.
Loved watching the x factor
Hey King, I thought you said at the start "these people have memes too, you know!" and I was nodding until my brain said wait, what! Upon rewinding you said 'dreams' ah ok, I bet some of them live on as memes to this day though!
Brilliant as always, thanks!
This show was so incredibly successful!! It defined the 00s
Yeah I agree entirely with your points about finding it hard to laugh when people are clearly vulnerable. You're a good soul!
The UK x-factor audition for "Penelope" is the funniest audition ever. It's a 4 min clip including them talking to her and if you find their reactions funny to singers this clip will kill you. The whole thing is just adorable and hilarious. And bless Penelope she is laughing along too in the audition as it's clear the judging panel really like her as a person but they just can't stop laughing.
Champagne should not be included in bad singing compilations. He’s good!
I saw Simon put worser talent over (Jedward) then champagne
It's not Bad Singing compilation.... it's Funniest Audition.... and his was quite funny
I mean, he sounds like an impersonator rather than a good singer 😂
It's a good attitude you have. Laughing at some of these is like going to those freak shows that used to exist.
Thanks for this, am almost crying. I'm reacting to the contestants, judges, and you. Great start to the weekend for me.
It's people like this, that make Britain Great.
The man is Louis Walsh, I think he was the manager for Westlife, could be wrong. But he cracks up at most things.
Boyzone too, I think.
Westlife, Boyzone, Girls Aloud. He's practically pop royalty in the UK
The word your looking for is tenacity. 🙏🏻
Or sheer bloody mindedness in the case of champagne! 😂
Ken Lee is arguably my favorite audition ever.
If you know, you know, otherwise YT it...I still randomly sing it to this day 😂
I just went and watched it, and I can't thank you enough. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
8:35 “Ken” sounded like the Cookie Monster
Great reaction. Cheers KB.
My sister did x-factor and before the filmed audition there is a audition where people that aren't the official judges, choose people based on either having amazing voices or "entertainement value" aka people that can be laughed at and mocked as a national pastime. my sister was pretty good and made it to the first bootcamp. it was back in 2011
Great reaction! You should do more of these! 👍
Love your reactions! You make me proper belly laugh 😂
I like how king boomers reaction to “the lion sleeps tonight” was exactly the same as Simon Cowels lol
The other judge was Louis Walsh, Irelands answer to Simon Cowell.
At 15:07 warren is the brother of a professional footballer who played for Liverpool and England “Martin Kelly”. I know this because they live in the same town as me and went school with them both
Well said King Boomer. This is why I like you dude, good man.
Well said Booms!
As Ricky Gervais said “Wheeling out the bewildered to be laughed at by multi-millionaires “
When I always watch these I laugh my socks off! Damn so funny everytime.
I heard your advice at the end about not encouraging them but its funny to know you're behind some of them
I used to say that these shows were the modern equivalent of the old freak shows. But sometimes you just can't help finding it funny. And yes it's the judges' reactions too. HIlarious.
I watched these when they first aired and still don't get tired of it!
The 3rd judge is Louis Walsh. Best known for his wheezing laugh, “You look like a pop star, sound like a pop star” catchphrase & his tendency to put people through because they’re Irish ☘️ 🇮🇪
King Boomer your face man cracks me up.PS love to your clan
Some people are just born to work in a chicken factory.
There’s one where Sharon and Louis completely lose it laughing and Simon tells them to leave 😂
lmao, I was so stunned myself that I didn't even look at your reaction till you paused and then I lost it, we were making the same face I imagine! I'm on the spectrum and I found it quite funny.
your reaction @6.10 was brilliant. Keep up the great work Boomer 🙂
you need to do more x factor reactions there is some funny stuff out there hahaha
These were the only parts I watched when it was on tv, laughed so much it hurt
champagne was good
He was doing a great version of Amazing Grace while they rejected him. I thought he could sing well enough.
I think the drink helps as well when listening to someone doing Karaoke lol
The mentally unstable of us at our finest 😅
You can imagine the whole of the uk watching and laughing 😂
Please check out Peter Kay’s pensioners can’t say their lines Outtake’s it’s from a spoof that Peter Kay did of the X Factor it’s absolutely hilarious .
I SO wish I could see Queen Boomer´s face witnessing the Lion King duet but also her seeing your horrified expression! 🤣🤣🤣
I was 19 and my baby was 9 months when the x factor was first shown on tv , i remember expecting my son back end of 2007 into early 2008 and having to stop myself from laughing
The "weirdest voice in the world" guy and the "barbie girl" guy were both definitely taking the piss. i wouldn't worry about laughing
Tenacity?
You need to react to Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere! It's a spin off sequel to Phoenix Nights. But honestly just watch Max and Paddy. Played by Peter Kay and Paddy McGuinness. Such a casual watch and laugh series!
13:24 wtf was he saying, is he a bank robber or something? 😂😂
06:02 Remember Folks... That could be your wife! :I LOL 06:28 Robert Unwin later became an X factor Meme and was later invited back on to the gala performances of the show when they had finals and specials as the worst of the worst auditions so being bad made him popular (and unforgettable) like Jedward. 11:05 Great Pause! 15:11 I can tell Sharon just wants to go shopping with him! :) 16:16 Eric Cantona Lookalike.
For a moment I thought you had frozen along with the video 😁😂
The second guy sounds like a cross between Elmer Fudd, buggs bunny and a bad boy band
7.10 legend … you know his work mates dared him and he did it .. he walked into that chicken factory as legend for trolling the show 😂
Louis Walsh, is a pop music producer, he brought us Boyzone and Westlife and the unforgettable Jedward. 🙂
You need to watch J Star’s audition, it’s the funniest, you’ll love it! 😂
The guy that done the bee gees/aqua, from the way he acted and was talking I would say has learning difficulties. I dont think anyone would therefore have been 'winding him up' telling him he was good, more of a confidence thing because of his disability. Over here it's kinda frowned upon to bad mouth anyone with a disability, but of course this can often lead to things like this where they take that confidence to a point where they get shot down harshly and it does more harm than originally being honest with them sadly.
What no Ablisa? Who can forget their unique combination of song and hand-to-hand combat?
We all know queen boomers wear the trousers 🤣🤣
These people walk amongst us.
Laugh at them all. Inclusiveness and all that.
There was a few more muppets with you on this clip😂😂
Can I also just give a shout out to all the many people who auditioned but not only didn't get anywhere, but were too middle-of-the-range good to even get into the bloopers or onto TV at all! Those must have felt a little broken after having the guts to audition, and I bet many of them DO have fantastic voices, just not good enough for mainstream success etc
The champagne bloke was hitting the notes, it was just the theatrics that put them off but they could've told him that.
The older guy is Louie Walsh...a big name in the music industry...especially in Ireland
10:10 onwards is really hard to not break
Would be interesting if you could find complications of Simon Cowell roasting the auditions
The Irish judge is Lou Walsh
Louis, he has never been known as Lou
X Factor is purely a singing contest. On Britain/ America Got Talent Warren aka the acrobatic guy might have pulled through the audition. Just give him some pointers.
PLEASE REACT TO THE FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDES.
where's the guy with the big hook ?
The other judge is called Louis Walsh.😊
I agree though Champagne was actually good.
Just went about it completely wrong. They’re looking for good singers, not a weird tribute act. He actually went in there trying to be R Kelly - which nobody should ever do.
If he’d just gone in and sang the gospel numbers like he started singing afterwards then I think he’d have gotten into the next round. It was just the ridiculous shades, fake mic, overacting and du rag that got him kicked out.
The other guy is Louis Walsh. Xx
I believe the word you were looking for was tenacity :)
I was thinking ambition
@elaine.clapham70 when somebody doesn't give up on something, they are tenacious, ambitious would simply mean they have strong goals or try to achieve great things, that they have large expectations of what they can achieve. Most people who are tenacious are ambitious and so I completely see why you would say ambitious :)
Louie Walsh was beautiful AF like 20 years ago
Very decent of you to feel bad about laughing at people who were clearly a bit special Boomer. I always felt this sorry for some of these people who ended up being international laughing stocks.
