    I've started this week on my mission to learn morse. I've had 2 very short failed attempts in the past 15yrs. You're advice regarding Di vs dits has made all the difference 🙏

      Callum, thanks for your kind comment. Stick with it. You will be amazed how much you will pick up just by learning a few letters a day. If five seems too much try 1 or 2. Hope to work you on the key soon. --... ...-- keith

    A very pleasant approach to learn CW. Great job! I have used several methods over the past 28 years, some good, some bad. I would highly recommend your system for beginners and those who are especially having a hard time or put off at learning Morse Code. Your system is easy to understand, well laid out and EASY to do!

    Omg I was learning and memorize all wrong .. I memorized with word for every letters but I’ll never learn speed like this. Your video helped so much! I think Morse should be carry on and not forgotten. I loved your video I’ll go watch all of them

    Great approach Keith. I'm new to learning Morse code so I used the settings to slow down transmission (.75). Thank you!

    oh Brilliant, I was looking for something like what you have done and sent at a decent speed like what you expect hear. I didn't do to well, but it will come, I am in no hurry, I have waited for ages, so a while longer won't hurt. Thanks very much Keith. EDIT: This is the best I have listened to so far, so well done Keith.

      Bob, you have started which is the biggest hurdle. Keep going over the letters and you will be surprised how much you start to remember. I am posting the next five letters every night so you can slowly build up your skills. Keep at it and don’t give up.

      @@TheHamRadioJunkie I hope to download it and string it all together later when you have completed it. I know you pick some letters out, but I get distracted with something else and drifted away from it again, you have just inspired me to keep going. I had picked up some letters, strange how the least expected stick in the mind while the easy ones escape! Even now I just pick out the odd letter. It is funny, years ago it put me off doing my licence as you had to pass to get to where I wanted to be. Now I don't really have to do it I want to. Nothing stranger than fiction ha ha. I look forward to the rest. I am only hoping you go through everything.

    I first learned with another post by counting the dits and dahs only to find out that it is a bad habit. Now I am learning all over again with the Keith method. A bit frustrating at first, but easy enough, with a bit of practice. Cheers Keith

      Oliver, stick with it. If it was simple there would be no challenge. Catch you on the key.

    Thats a pretty fast fist for a newbie on their first lesson right off the starting line. Still better than Gordos gas-bagging throughout the whole tape. I look forward to the other videos.

      Don't worry about he speed. Always listen at the speed you want and increase the gap between letters.

    Why is it so hard to keep the space between the groupe of letters? 😭😭😭😭😭😭? Every time the same.. then one missed letter and its impossible to check them out 😭😭😭😭. I'm never going to learn 😭😭😭😭

    This is the first time I ever seen a course where you learn the alphabet in order where most courses alternate them. Is there a reason why?

    • @TheHamRadioJunkie
      @TheHamRadioJunkie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, the answer is there is no real reason. I found it easier to go in order as you can start to create words from day one. You can also see how well you are doing as the letters start to tick away.

    Even though I only made 9 mistakes, I have to say that when I hear a character I have already forgotten which was the previous one. Nice work!
