Also, there are several other sections of the GPT that I really would love to do in future trips. Some amazing hiking in Patagonia. Ciao, come stai? Beautiful trekking, wonderful nature!!! I've always been fascinated by volcanoes, the arid landscapes, desert, snow and rocks, I see you like them too, if you like volcanoes you should go, sooner or later to Mount Etna, if you come back to Italy. Cheers!!!
Ciao, bene grazie. Volcán Descabezado was a great backpacking trip with an incredible landscape. More volcano videos to come from my recent trip to Chile. I don't have any plan for a trip back to Italy this year but a hike up Mount Etna sounds cool for sure!
One of the most spectacular hiking sections I’ve done in my life. Climbing up to the crater of Descabezado Grande at 4000 m was a very rewarding challenge.

Yes, the ones that can be seen towards the final part of the video during the ascent to Hornitos Pass are craters.
