I bring my eggs to a boil, shut off the burner and let them sit in the hot water for 13 mins, then put them in an ice bath, they come out perfect! Great recipe Cilla, I'm going to try it!
This was a trend when I was a young adult. Another thing that’s absolutely delicious is sliced onions 🧅 and mushrooms 🍄🟫 cooked in butter seasoned to your taste over rice 🍚. It looks delicious, Tfs🤗
We often do the foil onion packets on the grill. We don’t usually go to the trouble of keeping them whole, we quarter them, then top with butter & seasoning. They cook faster quartered. You can season those onions in so many ways. One of our favorites is simply butter, S&P and a bit of steak sauce or steak seasoning. Balsamic vinegar & butter is good too. Raid your spice cabinet & try a variety of flavors. And Cilla, I’m with you, garlic is nearly always a must! Consider throwing in mushrooms or bell peppers with your onions. Makes a yummy addition to a grilled steak!
Put the eggs in a pot cool water and let them come to a boil. Once at a rapid boil place a lid on the pot and take off of the heat immediately and let the pot sit for 10 minutes without lifting the lid. PERFECT everytime...never overcooked. Also, there is a cajun Tonis that does not have salt in it!
Yum. I love garlic & spices. My mom is South African and we ate lots of spices. Delicious. Brai is yummy for a good roast. Cooking is so fun. I enjoy watching different things too. That was something I've never seen. Yum. ❤
Looks so good! I'm definitely going to have to try these. Thanks for doing viral TikTok recipes! I don't have TikTok so I appreciate it! 😂 I'm thinking I will take the eggs to a family holiday party this year.
I’m going to have to try this. I love boiled eggs and I love onions. I think my family might like this too. I’m watching this at 9:30 at night and it’s making me want to make it. Don’t have any of the ingredients though except maybe an onion. Totally saving this recipe
These recipes look delicious. I keep my onions in a basket on my counter. I make my eggs in the Instant Pot cook for 6 minutes, natural release 6 minutes and ice bath for 6 minutes. Perfect every time, and peeling the eggs is so easy even with fresh chicken eggs.
My dad taught me, put eggs in cold water in pan. Bring to a boil. Turn off and cover and time 15 minutes. Put eggs into an iced water bath for 15 minutes.
If you will take a spoon and crack the shells, especially on the top and bottom when you put them in the ice bath, the shells are SO easy to remove. I’ve had them come off in 2 or 3 pieces, depending on how many times you crack the shell.
I think it would be great with a purple onion as well. Not quite as sweet as a vidalia but more so than a yellow onion. We do the spices and butter and stick them on the grill. 😋
I put my eggs in cold water with lid on and set timer for 17 minutes, put it to boil, then turn the stove low before pot comes to a full boil. When timer is done,,Then pour cold water over the boiled eggs in the hot water. This recipe is for awesome hard boiled eggs. 😊
I let my water come too a boil then I put my eggs in and I take them out around 10 minutes.. I keep my onions and tomatoes and cucumbers in my fridge have done so for many years. I know they say not to because you lose some of the nutrients, they don’t stay in that long… The onion boil looked delicious and I prefer a sweet onion my grandmother always said sweet onions were the best, better flavor…
I think the eggs are most tasty when you boil them for 6 min. Then the yellow thing is a bit hard and soft at the same time. But if you want them best for protein you boil them 9-10 min.
I boil my eggs for 10 mins add baking soda to help peel but I place a plate on top for 5 mins once I turn off heat at 10 min,,,, my family had a tater and onion bin
How I boil my eggs: The min, they come to a boil I turn the burner off, and put a lid on, and let them sit for about 8 to 10 mins then run under cold water, perfect every time.
I don't boil my eggs. I put the eggs in the pot, cover with cold water. Turn on the burner and bring it to a boil. When it's boiling, turn off the burner, cover the pot and time it for 10 minutes. Then remove them and cover with cold water to stop the cooking. They're perfect everytime.
I knew the Valdalia were going to be better. I do not like yellow onions. Also I make my own rustic rub from Emeril Lagasse recipe. I use it on a lot of recipes. We do like stuff spicy. I can't wait to try this recipe. Thank you Priscilla.
I never heard of eggs in a seafood boil. Sorry but jarred garlic and dry Parsley doesn't hold a candle to fresh. If you want to use it just for convenience I get that.
You could always mute it and use closed caption, if it’s a recipe one and you know they test something, mute it. I have to one lady I watch and I do it as she slurps and moves the food around to the front of her teeth. I would never though post I don’t like someone eating and how they chew , that’s just as rude to say it on their post.
thank you for actually measuring the spices. Most people just say to "put in a pinch" but what is a pinch? I'm not great a cooking, I like having a recipe.
@ I realized but I wasn’t looking at the screen. I went back 3 times before I caught on. I think my brain is just done for today. But I laughed so hard I was crying.

Both of you are an adorable couple. 🥰

I’ve never heard of this recipe, but am willing to try it, I love eggs and onion!
I put my eggs is a pot of cold water. Cover and bring to a boil. Immediately shut off and let sit for 15 min. Perfect every time
I steam my eggs for 12 minutes. I switched from boiling to steaming and I will never go back. Peeling the eggs is so much easier! ☺️
I keep mine in the fridge, too! I think it helps cut down on the tears 😊
i have never heard of these recipes. the onion one sounds delicious.

Beautiful fresh flowers 💐
I use the same Cajun seasoning in my homemade chicken Alfredo…soooo good
Tony's is my go-to! Boil my eggs for 10 minutes. I have a potato/ onion bin. Not refrigerated.
I bring my water to boil then add eggs put on low 12/13 mins. Always comes out perfect then adding eggs while boiling..but all to their own!
I've always boiled 10 minutes at a rolling boil, but now I just use an egg cooker, lol.
I let my water come too a boil then I put my eggs in and I take them out around 10 minutes.. I keep my onions and tomatoes and cucumbers in my fridge have done so for many years. I know they say not to because you lose some of the nutrients, they don’t stay in that long…

Must be good with all that butter 🧈
I steam them in a double boiler. Depending on size. Large is 12 minutes from cold water start. Extra Large is 13 minutes.
Onions go in the crisper in the fridge.
Try it with Lemon pepper 😍
Put a chicken or beef bouillon cube in your onion with wrap it in foil and put it in the oven or on the grill
5,5,5 method in instant pot. Never had a bad batch yet.
I boil eggs for about 13/ 14 for large eggs. I like mine done all the way
Responding to " Where do you keep the onions ", maybe regionally related to humidity
That is a lot of butter !!!!!😮😮
Cute top ❤
10 min max for hard boiled, I do mine 7 min, soft boiled inside
I keep my onions at the store 😂
Bring water to a boil, add eggs. Cook for 12 min VOILA perfect boiled eggs
Are you still using lemons that jessica helped you preserve in the big jar? How are they now?
I don't boil my eggs. I put the eggs in the pot, cover with cold water. Turn on the burner and bring it to a boil. When it's boiling, turn off the burner, cover the pot and time it for 10 minutes. Then remove them and cover with cold water to stop the cooking. They're perfect everytime.
😂I don’t like onions but I didn’t hate the video. I watched it anyway because I’m a dedicated fan. 😂
Not fair!!! You are using these spice mixes that are only available in the U.S.
Jarlick , not garlic
💨💨💨💨💨
Once my egg water starts to boil I set a timer for 10 minutes then into an ice bath

Cilla you had me laughing when you have to be careful with you tops off and then rizzo bighting your pants 😂
I never heard of eggs in a seafood boil. Sorry but jarred garlic and dry Parsley doesn't hold a candle to fresh. If you want to use it just for convenience I get that.
Yea we all know fresh is the best but this is to show quick easy convince
I don’t use enough parsley to waste money on fresh parsley. For the $1/bunch for fresh, I spent $1 on dry that I can use for the next few years.
Always nice to see you on a video cooking❤
Boiled 10 mins…
I boil my eggs for 10 minutes
I cant stand all the eating noises on the microphone 😅😱
Same here. It drives me crazy. 😑 It sounds like a bunch of cows munching on sweet feed. Huge pet peeve.

Hello
Yuck.
thank you for actually measuring the spices. Most people just say to "put in a pinch" but what is a pinch? I'm not great a cooking, I like having a recipe.
6 minutes
💀 I’m wondering why in the hell Asa biting your pants. 💀
Old Bay is good on a salad.
I think it’s the puppy, Rizzo, biting the pants. 😂
@ I realized but I wasn’t looking at the screen. I went back 3 times before I caught on.
I think my brain is just done for today. But I laughed so hard I was crying.
Nothing against you, but everything about this recipe makes my stomach turn. Yuck!
