I always pay attention and it actually saved me from Snake bite. My puppy was barking continuosly while I was watering the plants early on a Sunday morning ... I turned-back telling Puppy to stop barking ..... still, he continued.. Then suddenly something moved in the grass about a meter infront of me & was shocked to see a snake with its hood up ! I ran for safety ... Since then I always give attention when puppies bark !!
No offense zoos are wrong except for like snakes and birds maybe...putting a tiger in a cage is wrong...no offense meant. I couldn't do it. But be safe really mean no offense.

I thought it would be his pup or another dog in the drain but to hear it were kittens and how a stray dog showed love to a species that is not even his own is soo touching.. why can't humans have this level of compassion.
They do, don't believe the internet and all the "restoring faith in humanity" bs. Some are Epstein, some are Mother Teresa, but most are somewhere in the middle and will lend a helping hand. If you don't see this kind of thing in your community, then BE that kind of person in your community so others can aspire to it.
One of the most important things in this world without a doubt is perspective. A homeless dog knows the value of a meal, much like our own species that perspective breeds compassion, especially with those that can’t help themselves. It’s unfortunate we judge others so quickly without having walked in their shoes, and this dog has more humanity than we do at times. This is an amazing story.

I did my best for him, and show him love . ❤ He was Awesome, He played peek a boo. And I rarely get company, I'm old, BUT He was perfect company. Wish I had let him sit in my lap more tho. I was Constantly up and down - Always stuff ta do. He got injured and it wasn't gonna heal, and I couldn't afford the vet care and room n board. He was suuuuuch a Handsome feller. And SO Very Sweet.

Cause this is just a fake story. In a fictional story everybody can be a princess. The actual story is that the dog is indeed were watching the storm drain everyday and there were firefighters. But actually the dog was just watching a mouse inside the drain. There were no kittens at all. Read it in the turkey local news.

This is so heart warming. Seems like something my dog would do (she absolutely loves small animals like kittens). That dog was on its own trying to find food etc, and despite the poor dog being hungry himself he still shared half of his food with the five baby kittens. I love animals so much, they are so kind, more kind then most people nowadays

this has to be a joke. this is the most unsurprising story ive ever heard. (no exaggeration there. im fr.) im looking for a way to say this without sounding egotistical, but i seriously predicted this entire 8 minute length video 1 minute in. you couldnt believe how shooooocked i was when they said the dog was dropping treats to a baby animal under the storm drain.
@@sarah06ish That is actually not as sad as you believe. Except for a few of the wild species (like lions) felines are not herding animals. They are individualists and have no specific desire to live with others of their own kind, except for a very brief moment when mating or when females nurture their kittens. Other than that they don't particularly care for other cats. We've had cats for 50 years, and sometimes 3 at a time, and sometimes you see two that accept each other where the third actually feels ostracized by the two other cats, or you see three cats that all hate each other. Sometimes you can get extremely lucky and have two cats that live happily together, but when one dies, they don't react like dogs and walk around for months where you can tell it feels something important is missing. We compare it to the human feeling of grief, but it's not, but you can tell on the dog something isn't quite right for the first couple of months when it keeps looking for its pal. Cats are different. We've tried having a cat die suddenly, and its twin sister was actually a little tinier than her brother, and she went sniffing his normal sleeping spot on the sofa the first day, but after that, she acted like he never existed. Actually - however harsh it may sound - she actually lived up so much and became a much "happier" cat once she had all the attention and so much more space to herself. Her twin brother was a bit of a bully, so she was quite pleased to suddenly have the house to herself. Right now, we only have her, and since she's now twelve, we'll wait to get a couple of kittens until she passes away because she's never felt better than the last 5-6 years where she's been the only cat in the "castle". She is also an outdoor cat, but she's a bit the shy type and quite tiny, so she will quickly end at the bottom of the pecking order. So she doesn't stray too much and more or less sticks to our garden, and when cats from the neighbourhood pass through our garden, she hisses at them and then she turns around and projectile back home, flying through the cat flap with a bang, as she "hisses louder than she bites", so she is quite happy to sit with us on the balcony on the second floor where she can sit and throne over the garden in a safe distance and hiss at other cats, squirrels, birds and whatnot, who don't give a rats ass about her hissing. She "feels" very dangerous, but obviously, the other animals in the garden don't think so, which is a bit sweet and hilarious at the same time. I do not know the kittens from the story, obviously, but rest assured that no matter whether they lived happily together or not, they have now all forgotten about their former siblings, and it's only because we think like humans (which you can hear I also do myself) we forget animals are different. But it's a totally natural reaction, and I would also want such kittens to live together happily ever after, so it's not that I don't understand you.

How an animal is so selfless while struggling to live on its own as a stray is truly astonishing and just shows to be that a little bit of care and importance given to those kittens go a long way. Animals are so unpredictable and full of surprises!

But I highly doubt the dog would repeatedly stare and wait at a storm drain for absolutely nothing. FYI, there was a dog that did in fact rescue kittens from a storm drain.

Beautiful story. I saw the stray dogs everywhere when I visited turkey a few months ago but quickly saw how harmless they were. The locals seemed to take care of them decently enough.
Awww that's so nice to hear. I love dogs. If I lived in Turkey I would never have money because I would hand over all my food and bedding to the dogs, lol.
They are not stray actually, dogs and cats are the owners of street in Turkiye. They are all vaccinated and tagged, even the municipality can't take them away for long, they have to bring them back to their home after taking for (free) surgeries/operations if needed. Most of the apartments have many small dog houses in front of them, also cups of water and food for them. They are looked after well and very friendly. It is very common for you to see a dog following random strangers just to see them off to their destination safely, just because they petted the dog :)
What a heartwarming uplifting story. Every character - the dog, Annie, the fire fighters, the kittens - are wonderful loving adorable creatures. If only we all could be that way. What a wonderful world it would be‼️
Having been a vet tech for over 14 years, I have seen it all. Some people would come in, and it would be very obvious, that they didn’t treat their animals very well. When we would do the, routine, exams and, sometimes, talk to the animals, the person would ask why. We would tell them that the animal was frightened and we wanted to reassure it that everything was ok. The owner would, then, say why?-“they don’t have feelings.” It was all that the vet, or myself, could do to contain ourselves from treating the person the way that they were treating their “animal” as they saw it. So many animals, no matter their breed, i.e. birds, etc, show a lot more empathy towards their, fellow, friends, including humans, than we do. We could learn a lot from them if we choose to.

That is an incredible story. Animals like dogs are very intuitive they really have souls and his instinctive qualities are honed all the more because he's a stray. That dog was so loyal and knew that if he guarded that spot every day someone would help and further more the kittens knew that this dog was their comrad and life giver. What pisses me off is that people are so apathetic that they don't even notice they're not even the least bit curious as to what this animal was trying to convey to them.Apathy is a big problem worldwide. This animal possesses more intelligence than the people that pass him day by day. Kudos to this woman.
Having lived in Turkey for over fourteen yeats I can assure people these street dogs can be as friendly as any other dog. Treat them kindly and you will receive respect back to you.
If a city is going to allow strays to wander freely about, the city should take responsibility to see to it that these animals have proper inoculations. Spaying and neutering should be paid for by the government that allows this freedom also! Who takes responsibility for them when they are injured or sick,or injure someone? This is a very cute idea, but the total impracticality of the situation it creates is so ridiculously unfair for the dogs and people! I hope someone recognizes the huge downside of this!

The sad part about this is, people can't get along with each other yet a stray dog and kittens have a better understanding of one another's needs and wants. While I won't deny that scenes like this are possible in nature, the truly sad part about this is that except for the dog staring into drains, everything else is fake. Yes the dog stared into the storm drains everyday and yes firemen came to look but they found nothing. They checked every drain with cameras, nothing out of the ordinary found. The local shop owners claim that the dog behaves that way cause he once caught a mouse coming out of a storm drain so he checks on them in hope that another one may appear. It really is something else, Something else indeed....Both selfless and sometimes selfish both brutal and sometimes beautiful. As we just watched a stray selfless dog share it's meal with a pack of trapped kittens. Somewhere In African on the Savannah a pack of selfish wild dogs just stole a dead Gazelle that a hunting lioness's brutally killed to feed her family. But then she went back to the pride told the big maned male lion and then he went on to go kill those dogs and retrieve the prides meal so they all don't die of starvation. Now the leaders of the pack of the wild dogs are dead and their pups are going to be picked off by some Hyena's because no one's there to protect them. Something else indeed....

An absolutly beautiful "true" story of this wonderful dog. Dogs are special animals and are extremelly fond of their owners until they die. This dog's atitude towards the lovely kittens was simply adorable. I have a yorkshire-terrier (had two but one, absolutely kind and beautiful, unfortunatly died last year, when that happened I cried for two hours next to him (the Vet-doc told me to do so, I suppose she thought - and thought well - that was a nice tender way of myself saying good-bye to my adorable dog) until he was taken to be cremated. I still cry when I happen to think of him. Thank you for such lovely video.

This story illustrates the compassionate need for a spay and neuter program so animals don't have to vie for places to live, food to eat, water to drink and so many of them don't wind up homeless and struggling to live every single day. It also illustrates how animals know who is kind - and are grateful for human compassion. Thanks to all rescuers!

One of the most important things in this world without a doubt is perspective. A homeless dog knows the value of a meal, much like our own species that perspective breeds compassion, especially with those that can’t help themselves. It’s unfortunate we judge others so quickly without having walked in their shoes, and this dog has more humanity than we do at times. This is an amazing story.

Cause this is just a fake story. In a fictional story everybody can be a princess. The actual story is that the dog is indeed were watching the storm drain everyday and there were firefighters. But actually the dog was just watching a mouse inside the drain. There were no kittens at all. Read it in the turkey local news.

They are individualists and have no specific desire to live with others of their own kind, except for a very brief moment when mating or when females nurture their kittens. Other than that they don't particularly care for other cats. We've had cats for 50 years, and sometimes 3 at a time, and sometimes you see two that accept each other where the third actually feels ostracized by the two other cats, or you see three cats that all hate each other. Sometimes you can get extremely lucky and have two cats that live happily together, but when one dies, they don't react like dogs and walk around for months where you can tell it feels something important is missing. We compare it to the human feeling of grief, but it's not, but you can tell on the dog something isn't quite right for the first couple of months when it keeps looking for its pal. Cats are different. We've tried having a cat die suddenly, and its twin sister was actually a little tinier than her brother, and she went sniffing his normal sleeping spot on the sofa the first day, but after that, she acted like he never existed. Actually - however harsh it may sound - she actually lived up so much and became a much "happier" cat once she had all the attention and so much more space to herself. Her twin brother was a bit of a bully, so she was quite pleased to suddenly have the house to herself. Right now, we only have her, and since she's now twelve, we'll wait to get a couple of kittens until she passes away because she's never felt better than the last 5-6 years where she's been the only cat in the "castle". She is also an outdoor cat, but she's a bit the shy type and quite tiny, so she will quickly end at the bottom of the pecking order. So she doesn't stray too much and more or less sticks to our garden, and when cats from the neighbourhood pass through our garden, she hisses at them and then she turns around and projectile back home, flying through the cat flap with a bang, as she "hisses louder than she bites", so she is quite happy to sit with us on the balcony on the second floor where she can sit and throne over the garden in a safe distance and hiss at other cats, squirrels, birds and whatnot, who don't give a rats ass about her hissing. She "feels" very dangerous, but obviously, the other animals in the garden don't think so, which is a bit sweet and hilarious at the same time.
I do not know the kittens from the story, obviously, but rest assured that no matter whether they lived happily together or not, they have now all forgotten about their former siblings, and it's only because we think like humans (which you can hear I also do myself) we forget animals are different. But it's a totally natural reaction, and I would also want such kittens to live together happily ever after, so it's not that I don't understand you.

I heard it is like a law to care for stray dogs and cats in Turkey. They will even let them inside classroom too
They are not stray actually, dogs and cats are the owners of street in Turkiye. They are all vaccinated and tagged, even the municipality can't take them away for long, they have to bring them back to their home after taking for (free) surgeries/operations if needed. Most of the apartments have many small dog houses in front of them, also cups of water and food for them. They are looked after well and very friendly. It is very common for you to see a dog following random strangers just to see them off to their destination safely, just because they petted the dog :)

Having been a vet tech for over 14 years, I have seen it all. Some people would come in, and it would be very obvious, that they didn’t treat their animals very well. When we would do the, routine, exams and, sometimes, talk to the animals, the person would ask why. We would tell them that the animal was frightened and we wanted to reassure it that everything was ok. The owner would, then, say why?-“they don’t have feelings.” It was all that the vet, or myself, could do to contain ourselves from treating the person the way that they were treating their “animal” as they saw it. So many animals, no matter their breed, i.e. birds, etc, show a lot more empathy towards their, fellow, friends, including humans, than we do. We could learn a lot from them if we choose to.

Spaying and neutering should be paid for by the government that allows this freedom also! Who takes responsibility for them when they are injured or sick,or injure someone? This is a very cute idea, but the total impracticality of the situation it creates is so ridiculously unfair for the dogs and people! I hope someone recognizes the huge downside of this!

The sad part about this is, people can't get along with each other yet a stray dog and kittens have a better understanding of one another's needs and wants. It's hard to love voters that kill babies at 5 months in, 3x gas prices and my small paycheck is worth half what it was due to inflation. While I won't deny that scenes like this are possible in nature, the truly sad part about this is that except for the dog staring into drains, everything else is fake.
Yes the dog stared into the storm drains everyday and yes firemen came to look but they found nothing. They checked every drain with cameras, nothing out of the ordinary found.
The local shop owners claim that the dog behaves that way cause he once caught a mouse coming out of a storm drain so he checks on them in hope that another one may appear.

It really is something else, Something else indeed....Both selfless and sometimes selfish both brutal and sometimes beautiful. As we just watched a stray selfless dog share it's meal with a pack of trapped kittens. Somewhere In African on the Savannah a pack of selfish wild dogs just stole a dead Gazelle that a hunting lioness's brutally killed to feed her family. But then she went back to the pride told the big maned male lion and then he went on to go kill those dogs and retrieve the prides meal so they all don't die of starvation. Now the leaders of the pack of the wild dogs are dead and their pups are going to be picked off by some Hyena's because no one's there to protect them. Something else indeed....

An absolutly beautiful "true" story of this wonderful dog. Dogs are special animals and are extremelly fond of their owners until they die. This dog's atitude towards the lovely kittens was simply adorable. I have a yorkshire-terrier (had two but one, absolutely kind and beautiful, unfortunatly died last year, when that happened I cried for two hours next to him (the Vet-doc told me to do so, I suppose she thought - and thought well - that was a nice tender way of myself saying good-bye to my adorable dog) until he was taken to be cremated. I still cry when I happen to think of him. Thank you for such lovely video.

I totally agree with you. Animals have more compassion that a lot of humans.
This story illustrates the compassionate need for a spay and neuter program so animals don't have to vie for places to live, food to eat, water to drink and so many of them don't wind up homeless and struggling to live every single day. It also illustrates how animals know who is kind - and are grateful for human compassion. Thanks to all rescuers!
