Keem them comming. You and network-chuck are the reason why I got into DevOps and cyber security. Really appreciate your time and effort. I think I am speaking for all, when I say your time and effort is making a big difference in our lives.
These videos are always so fun! Though, could you make some videos of showing us how you write these scripts, please? Like step by step and your thought process?
I'm currently getting my IT degree. I DIED laughing at the clip with the guy on a laptop being arrested (7:57)lmao! Great video with great information! Thank you.
@5:37 You mention dhcp snooping which will not stop this kind of attacks. Anyways this might be idea for another video: how to prevent such attacks, why and when to use dhcp snooping, port security etc.
Hey David, if you would have to start from zero, with no experience of knowledge, to get where you are. How would you go for it? With everything you know. I am just asking so I can have a clearer roadmap. Thanks and much love 😎
Great video David . Also I would thankyou for the free cources . Also I am a bit sad because you did not leave a reply to my previous comments on your past videos. Also David keep making video we will support you . Thankyou
you are helping all the students like me who can't afford money for the courses . what can I say because saying thank is a very very very little thing especially for you big fan from India David sir, friend, big brother ....
Hi David, I was just wondering, would you be able to do a scapy DHCP starvation tool that bypasses Port Security? This would be an out of the box and fun way to learn something creative.
@@davidbombal But usually IP leases are 24 hrs? It can be adjusted in the CLI, but lets say it's 24 hrs. So that client won't lose that IP unless they don't connect for 24 hrs? The Mac address is bound to that IP address only? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Maybe a stupid question but I will ask anyway. Why does script that only performs the D part of DORA works? What happens when DHCP server doesn't get a request as a response for his offer?
But if a device has IP address already assigned to it will not be affected as its IP address is already Reserved?Only new connecting devices will be affected?
They can find the WiFi network, but cannot access any devices because you need an IP address to communicate. Most hosts today still use IPv4 and that is what I am demonstrating in this video.

Should I replace eth0 with wlan0 if I use alpha ?
Feeling first with 400 others
lol... thank you for your support!
Sir, Do I first have to connect to the network that I want to attack?
Are you attacking clients on the same network
4:38
What about DHCP lease.. I don't think the script would be able to take over an ip that has been leased to a client on the network
If the client already has an IP address from the DHCP server, this would only affect that specific client when they try to renew their lease.

Maybe could try that experiment and use Wireshark, see if the script is doing more that the D part?
Thanks!
Wouldn't ip dhcp snooping stop this?
Can this process be used on pycharm too?
Hi David thanks augain for this creat video :-)

draw.io
does it block all the networks around so the victims can't find the network or do i have to choose a certain network
They can find the WiFi network, but cannot access any devices because you need an IP address to communicate. Most hosts today still use IPv4 and that is what I am demonstrating in this video.
