Why does my grommet come out pretty easy I have the spur set with the proper tools I just can't seem to set it no matter how hard I hit it with the hammer
Hi Margie, Can you email me a photo of the tools you are using and a photo of the grommet in your fabric assembly. I will then try to help evaluate the issue. Send them to ericg@sailrite.com
4:49 clear now! you explained what others did not. Thanks a lot.
How can I avoid wrinkling of the sail fabric around the grommet, the result of setting the spur grommet?
You are a very good teacher. Thank you so much!!
What's the max thickness of material a spur gromet can be installed on?
Very helpful, thanks .. but on my laptop it's very quiet even with the sound turned right up ;)
Your link to SailRight does not work. I think you clipped off the end.
Thanks man, well explained.
I'm glad you found the explanation helpful!
What kind of rubber mat material are you using on the bottom? I have been using a wood block, but it gets torn up after a few grommets.
Here is a link to that cutting block: www.sailrite.com/Rubber-Cutting-Block
Whats the difference between a mallet and a hammer style mallet?
Clear and to the point. Now, I got it, THNX

Thank you so much! 😊🙏
You're welcome 😊
They are actually called eyelets.
Wrong. An eyelet is 1 piece . A grommet is 2 piece
@@woodworker1946 Here in Japan we call them "eyelet rings" or アイレットリィング"
