I love it when you say pudding and my lovely little lady Avery has the biggest smile on her face when you say that, it's just adorable..thanks for sharing, you are an amazing mum....❤❤
Well done for trying to continue with breastfeeding, no one can say you never tried. Avery is still young as you say who knows when she gets bigger she may try to taste food 👍 poor little Avery not very happy so no smiles today but hope she feels better soon 👍❤️🩹
I agree with you not pushing too much with the feeding but at the same time not giving up completly. I struggled with my son to feed too. He was with an NG tube for a long time, And very slowly he started inceasing the amount of pureed food. He s almost four And very recently he started eating some solid food (only bread And pasta). But i never forced him too because food is meant to be enjoyed just as you said. You re doing a great job mamà ❤️❤️❤️
I really hope Avery gets to that point. I’m so happy for you and your son i can imagine it feels so liberating when you get results from all the hard work you both put in xx
@@mummyandavery yes it s a long journey especially when there are other issues with the reflux and other things you mentioned which makes everything so much harder. I don t know how but my son started improving with the feeding when i started the Anat Baniel Method. There is a centre in London that practice such Method. I know another family that had a problem with the reflux that halped in that aspect too. Don t know how far that is for you. In my country i don t have any practitioners so that s the disadvantage i have that i can t provide my son with regular lessons
Hey 🫶🏻 I’m Nikki also a special needs mummy to little Luna 💜 love your channel & content 💜 I am also going to Florida this year in November & like you I’m obsessed with packing videos ! Can you recommend any you watch ?
Amazing 😍 I’m glad you enjoy the videos. My favourites are brogan Tate, brummymummyof2 and mummyoffourdoesdisney. I’m hoping to have lots of Disney planning content coming soon too 🥰 xx
Honestly she looks really strong… the way she sat and were in her tummy. Trust your instincts mamma. Not all medical advice or outside advice is good. You are the best , God gave her to you ❤ just asking the constant rocking and leg tucking in, is an OT thing, making her strong… ❤ th-cam.com/video/ns5EjZUIRWM/w-d-xo.html
Thank you ❤️ I do agree with you on this, there’s certainly times I don’t agree with professionals, sometimes they’re just following what usually works but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for everyone xx
I know this is a silly question could you try for example 1 ml of food (blended diet) each day and increase it slowly and see how that goes. Keep try her oral feeds when she is up for it.
Is it my imagination or does Avery’s dystonia seem better? I know how you must have felt when you had to stop breast feeding because my grandson was born prematurely at 34 weeks, my daughter managed to breast feed for about 5 months but had to stop as he stopped gaining weight and seemed to have problems feeding . The Health Visitor said he probably had reflux so in the end she had to bottle feed and it really upset her. But you always have to do what is best for baby don’t you. Gosh you really had a difficult time ❤️
Exactly, fed is best but it is heartbreaking. She’s on a new med, I’ve not noticed an improvement in her Dystonia but I have in her development. I’m with her all day though so it may not be as easy for me to pick up on changes, that’s why you guys are the best, you see things I don’t xx
Her Dystonia forces her to stretch her legs out, keeping her legs in a frog position keeps her more secure to try and stop the movements from triggering. Her neurologist said it’s really common for children with dystonia to like the positioning xx
You’re doing a wonderful job with Avery. ❤
Thank you 🥰

She was brewing a viral infection, I think that’s why she’s been so fussy the last couple of weeks, hopefully it won’t take too long to go away xx

We tried that, she did ok for a while then it just plummets out of nowhere. We’re seeing a new speech therapist soon 🤞🏼 xx
Can't they try a patch that dries up the saliva xx
Her doctors think it’s a bad idea while she’s teething xx
Oh right, well I can understand that, maybe it will improve when that's finished xx
❤🔥❤🔥

Why do you keep bending her legs in when you hare holding her? She's such a cute little girl!
Her Dystonia forces her to stretch her legs out, keeping her legs in a frog position keeps her more secure to try and stop the movements from triggering. Her neurologist said it’s really common for children with dystonia to like the positioning xx
is she on a bended diet
Not at the moment we’re planning to trying again later this year xx
I hate that
What’s that? Xx
