I’d like to see what they feed their horses and how they train. I remember seeing a video of Valegro’s last ride. Very moving. They obviously have a winning set up. It was very clean. Are the small dogs good at keeping the mice down?
This place uses Hilltop Farm Inc. All of the stallions we visited on this tour are listed on their stallion list. I used to spend summers at Hilltop Farm as a working student.
Beautiful! Thank you! I missed the name of the stunning grey 8 yr old son of Everdale. Lottie said he's her unicorm that everybody notices & loves. Anybody know his name?
I am sad for the horses having to stable on brick/concrete. That can’t be comfortable to stand on. Dirt is preferable. They ask so much from their horses would be good if they were more thoughtful about their comfort.
This may be a silly question (I love horses but am not a horse person). Could you please tell me what breed are these particular horses featured in this video?
Those are some of the finest stables i have ever seen. I have never seen a stable with a horse gym. These horses are treated very well. All these people talking about thet need to be turned out obviously have no idea about horses. They've probably never seen two stallions fight over a mare, or seen a stallion trying to force a mare. Its not a pretty sight. They will literally kill each other.
Oh if there only was a possibility to put mares only and each stallion on a separate pasture… There’s literally no other way to put all of them together in one field, so sad. Your argument is embarrassingly weak and you now that.
Luxurious for the humans, but the horses? They are probably suffering a lot. 10hours of turnout is the bare minimum, but not even close to what would be perfect.
@@merryarttoonesakamarysusan559 what‘s your high qualification which makes you think that my opinion has no worth? (Sorry english is not my native language)
I would be much more impressed if the horses were outside in the fields, especially the youngsters. It’s not nice seeing them with so little room to move around. You can say it’s just for the video but I’m not convinced tbh!
Alot of abuse going on among the elite high end show horse barns. It is well known and see it on line all the time. PLease God help these poor creatures from the abuse that is put upon them. It is time to stop after thousands of years of cruelty. WHen you have money you are immune to having to pay for what you have done at least for those who are guilty. THe horses in the stalls are obviously never allowed out to pasture so that is a mental and physical problem for a wandering herd animal. Oh I forgot you just dont give a damn about the horses welfare just the prestige and money. It is very clear that is how it is at these barns.
I am not impressed... it looks fancy yes, but not a good life. In sweden al horses have to be outside, its law... you cant just stall them. Some bigger place have dispens but they have to be outside half day and they rotate... my boy is outside 24/7 he has his own house with alot of straw in it, so he can choose, inside or outside, his pasture is big and he has his two neighbors that he cant talk to over the fence and his own box in the stall if I wanna take him inside. Thats fancy in my opinion! 🙂
I completely with you friend. My horses have the same. They have stalls but the doors are permanently open so they can come and go as they please. Fans in the hot summer months. Warm dry bedding when it’s cold. Grass available all day and night all year, plenty of free choice hay, soaked alfalfa mash + vitamins, free choice salt and minerals, lots of grooming, massage, and ethical exercise. God bless you and keep you friend. Its always good to hear others who align on this issue and think about your horses living happy lives wherever you/they are. 😊❤✝️🕊️🙏🏻
I have never seen a more beautiful stable! I must say the indoor arena gives me asylum vibes 😳 its gorgeous but why is it completely enclosed without a sliver of window and white walls not a single flag/ banner/ fake brush/ mirror/ nothing.. 😅 gives me anxiety I probably couldn't ride in there
Är hästarna inte ute?? Stackars hästar som verkar vara uppstallade största delen av deras dagar och liv. Fantastiska hästar men trist med uppstallningen!
So many let the horses free people. Have them in traffic. People have no idea of what these horses cost as in keeping them. Go to you nearest stable and ask how much you have to pay each month. And then vet costs, insurance, equipment, farrier, dentist, chiropractor....
After what I've been hearing and reading about dressage in Europe, I wonder if they use "Rollkur" on their horses, or if they choke them up behind the vertical (when no one is around with a camera) or otherwise abuse them as seems to be what many of the "Pros" are doing to get their horses to Grand Prix in a hurry no matter what they do to their horses. I am getting very skeptical about dressage in Europe and where they were once "Gods", they now have become "scum".

all day and all night What’s wrong with these people? Why don’t they want to put them out I don’t get it.
Loved it true Matt quality style!! 🤩🤩👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺
Looks like a prison.
Amazing barn ❤
I love it matt is the best and the stableeees i want them😂
Apparently they have lots of facilities to turn out and such and they use it, but they just didnt show it in the video
This place uses Hilltop Farm Inc. All of the stallions we visited on this tour are listed on their stallion list. I used to spend summers at Hilltop Farm as a working student.
horses should be outside in paddocks at least. not stabled all day.
They aren’t stabled all day….
not the dog with the carrot 😂 12:13
Beautiful! Thank you! I missed the name of the stunning grey 8 yr old son of Everdale. Lottie said he's her unicorm that everybody notices & loves. Anybody know his name?
Thats “Especial”
There's plenty of money going around at this level to separate stallion and mare paddocks
Yes enjoyed
I saw some bored looking horses
Luxurious for the humans, but the horses? They are probably suffering a lot. 10hours of turnout is the bare minimum, but not even close to what would be perfect.
they had them in stalls for the video, are they supposed to walk and show empty stalls??

@@merryarttoonesakamarysusan559 what‘s your high qualification which makes you think that my opinion has no worth? (Sorry english is not my native language)
I would be much more impressed if the horses were outside in the fields, especially the youngsters. It’s not nice seeing them with so little room to move around. You can say it’s just for the video but I’m not convinced tbh!
@@merlebarl4977what is your high qualification that makes them have to listen to you?
I hope Everdales mouth is okay. (From the bleeding DQ, again.) I also hope that the horses aren’t kept in prison all day and night.
A dream life, and I'm not a rider ❤
Do they came out in field at days ?
They must have loads of people ride theses horses every day
Alot of abuse going on among the elite high end show horse barns.
Did that dog fart???!!!
Matt I want to start dressage can U recommend good trainer for me Brugge area pls ?❤
Nothing can excuse the pain Glamourdale went through
I am not impressed... it looks fancy yes, but not a good life.
isn't that the "winner" who used the blue tongue technique?
Those poor horses just staring at a concrete wall...at least put some plants or something around!
I have never seen a more beautiful stable! I must say the indoor arena gives me asylum vibes 😳 its gorgeous but why is it completely enclosed without a sliver of window and white walls not a single flag/ banner/ fake brush/ mirror/ nothing.. 😅 gives me anxiety I probably couldn't ride in there
😮Valegros dad. ❤❤❤
Är hästarna inte ute?? Stackars hästar som verkar vara uppstallade största delen av deras dagar och liv. Fantastiska hästar men trist med uppstallningen!
All these horses gets old , while girls mean that they are so miserable. Anky van Grusvens horses who made 3 olympic games became nearly 30 years old
So many let the horses free people. Have them in traffic. People have no idea of what these horses cost as in keeping them. Go to you nearest stable and ask how much you have to pay each month. And then vet costs, insurance, equipment, farrier, dentist, chiropractor....
im hoping to be able to use frozen semen from glamourdale next year for my TB mare, fingers crossed, much love from the UK xxx
omg…😂 this is a “trilling plate”. matt are you even aussie? a thrilling plate? 😂😂, no a “vibrating”…. viberating for the english speaking people 🎉
After what I've been hearing and reading about dressage in Europe, I wonder if they use "Rollkur" on their horses, or if they choke them up behind the vertical (when no one is around with a camera) or otherwise abuse them as seems to be what many of the "Pros" are doing to get their horses to Grand Prix in a hurry no matter what they do to their horses. I am getting very skeptical about dressage in Europe and where they were once "Gods", they now have become "scum".
Big business and happy horses , pffff
Stupid to move😈Bad stall
The abuse house
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
So there’s 0 fields?💀
