Why the copper coil doesn't get hot? Is there any cooling inside it? Both workpiece and the coil have similar conductivity (both are copper), and I expect similar temperature rise in the coil. Thanks
hi sir ..i used old induction cooker board...then it will not heat up the copper tube .it only works in iron or ceramic plates...what is the secret behind it?im from Philippines..thanks for the idea if ever
on test 8 I see something flowing inside the elbow. Where or how did you get the brazing rod there without us seeing it?? Edit: I do commercial refrigeration, and would like to make an inductive heater to anneal copper pipes before expanding -or flaring them. Is this a plausible idea?
Hello, The brazing alloy for this application is in the form of rings which were put inside the joint before heating up. No rod was applied. Yes, there is a water cooling system that runs water through the coil. :)
