Nice colors. I've been riding a 98 Magna for almost 20 years. Never once had any problems with it. I'll never let that thing go.

Thanks. Nice ride. Have a 2000 Magna. Many other sportbikes and nakeds have come and gone over the years, but still keep the old Magna. Oh and lower your camera a bit so we see gauges and feel like we’re along for the ride. Cheers

Beautiful bike. Honda had their stuff together in the 90s. I love mine more as time passes.

@@throttlehobby6009 At our shop us mechanics tried to hide when these Honda Magna's came in for work! LOL
The carbs in the valley between the "V" are an absolute bitch to work on. A Nightmare.
A common job was the bike had been left sitting - and the carbs all clogged up with rotting gas.
I swear there are a million jets in these carbs - all to be painstakingly cleaned out.
Cleaning them out was a $1,000 job.

@@DennisMerwood-xk8wp really I found the carb work to be good compared to like a 1985 Honda nighthawk I did. That is very interesting to hear that .

I got my ’94 in 2014 with 19k miles from orriginal owner who probBly never rode it over 80 mph.
I can tell you have a perfent tune on yours.
I put Metzler Marathons on it right away. In The AZ heat And mountains, I was 85-100 mph all day long. With many, 120 mph pulls up to 134. And you just can't do that with a Harley V-twin without damaging the motor. I smoked every Stage 2 or 3 harley I ever met.
This motor never, ever got hot. I ran a partial synthetic racing oil in her. It helped keep compression up and she never burnt , or leaked a drop of oil.
I had Cobra slash cut slip-ons, it sounded great. Loud, but not too loud.
With the Metzlers, the cornering ability ecxeeded the bikes limits.
Have a great time on your Bobber. I tricked-out my Magna too. I modded a 5.56mil ammo can on the right hand and a Harley swingarm bag on the left.
Made brackets to mount highway pegs to the motor mounts, so they looked OEM.

I just bought a 94 that is pretty pristine a month ago and have been really enjoying it . I am almost 82 and needed a bit lighter bike from my Harleys and GoldWing since having back and shoulder problems and feel right at home on this and it has enough go to get a bit of adrenaline flowing . I miss having the luggage capability but I don’t like the looks of baggage so carry stuff in my pockets and have a front fork bag for some tools . I don’t take rides much over 100 miles one way much anymore . I like the black and blue on yours . Mine is solid black and the guy put new Cobra pipes , had solo seat redone , new paint and decals , tires . It has 8800 miles .

Did you say that 83 nighthawk is for sale- if so hit me up please.

    • @throttlehobby6009
      @throttlehobby6009  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes its at my shop, it needs a carb cleaned and a new battery. I am going to get it running again so I can better sell it. I was going to ask 3k for it when done, but if someone wants to do the work them selves I would take 1k off of it and sell it for 2k. comes with an extra carb, and has a lot of work and parts put into it and lets just say a lot of the parts (EX) the carb boots I had to special order along with the apulstry on the seat. If your still interested message me back, you could do a TH-cam video on it if your into that. Hope to here from you soon.
