Tahiti is part of French Polynesia, an external region of France and also an Overseas Country or Territory (OCT) of the EU. FP is a collection of many islands with common yet distinct Polynesian cultures, closer to that of the Māori for some and to Hawaiians for others. They have devolved rule but still are part of France, like Scotland and Wales are part of the UK.
Why dont they use € then as currency ? Why does Paris allow them to have their own currency??
@@JO-nh6mo because the French collectivity of Oceania are very largely autonomous, in FP they wish to retain this currency, they themselves carry out their monetary policies with fiscal and economic competence.

I got out in Los Angeles😅
We flew ATN recently from LA to Papeete round trip in economy. It was probably the worst trip we have ever taken. The seats are so close together that you cannot get in and out if you're sitting by the window or in the middle. In fact, I sprained my knee very badly getting back into my seat because the seats in the row in front of us were all reclined. There wasn't even 3 inches of space to crawl back to the seat. Not only very uncomfortable, but dangerous because in an emergency, a lot of people sitting by the window will not be able to get out. The crew was very nice, food not bad, entertainment good. But a dangerous, unhealthy seating arrangement.
I agree with you that the legroom they offer is not very generous but besides that I had a comfortable flight with them:)

I just flew this airline yesterday and wow that economy was quite small in my opinion. the person in front of me reclined and as a result i could barely use the tray table. I did think the food was quite nice. Great video!
I’ve also seen better economy cabins😅 But the tropical atmosphere onboard makes it pleasant and the food was indeed quite nice! Thanks for watching🙂
