Hello, I'm one of the few Qooder owners in Singapore and also the one you spoke otr at Alexandra. Let me share some thoughts of the bike. It does need some getting used to and you'll need to familiarise yourself with the HTS system. Engaging the all wheels brake(left lever or foot pedal) will also lock the HTS to a certain extend thus it's not advisable to use them during cornering and lane splitting as it will restrict the manoeuvrability of the bike. The hydro-pneumatic suspension provides a comfortable and planted ride, I like it a lot but it tends to understeer during cornering. The braking performance is ok, I guess, it does need to work hard to stop this heavy beast. The stock Duro "Racing" tyres are junk, I had them swapped for some Angels and they inspired more confidence to the ride. Acceleration is like rubberband, typical of CVT, reaches highway speed pretty quick with it's 32ish ponies and as long you're in torque rpm, you can easily overtake vehicles. Mileage was about 22.5km/l so I'm getting 315km from the 14l tank, sluggish with 95 but perky with 98, your mileage may vary. That's all for now. Cheers!
Met two bros at Ikea Tampines today and they threw me some interesting questions. They caught me off guard as I was kinda in a rush and didn't answer some of their questions. Let me make it up to them by sharing and answering their questions here; Some history of the company. Qooder, formerly known as Quadro, is registered in Switzerland and headquartered in Italy. The bikes are manufactured in Taiwan by Aeon Motorcycle Group. If you do some research, the bikes in Qooder lineup are white-label from the aforementioned company. For Qooder Quadro however, Qooder has acquired the rights and therefore proprietary to them. You can still see the other models on the Aeon website. For the future e-Qooder model, it's said to be manufactured in Italy but that's another topic for another time. Some technical questions. Yes, the bike can tip over in an uncontrolled situation i.e with the bike standing still with the HTS unlocked, a nudge is suffice for physics to take over and tip the 280kg bike over. The variator is internal thus the exposed twin beltings and they are driven by a differential. Yes, manouvering in tight situation or when you find yourself stuck in a downhill slope with no reverse gear, it is very difficult indeed. E.O: SAE 10W40 or SAE 10W50, 2.1L with oil filter, 2L without. Gearoil: 85W140 GL-5 or equivalent, 1L(Good luck finding this at a motorcycle workshop, had to change mine at my car workshop) The gearoil lobang is straw hole small and located in a tight location, so DIY is out of the question unless you have the tools for it. If you have any further questions, do comment and I'll try my best to answer.
@@pms86 I came across this just now. Lovely! I'm currently eye-ing on the Yamaha Tricity, can you give a quick comparison with this Qooder? Safety is utmost importance, but versatility (tight roadways) is also a factor. Basically what the uncle in the video was citing 🤭
Hello Farhan, at 17:25 when the storage compartment was shown, might want to blur out Francis's parcel as I assume the address stated is his home residence. Another great review on a unique bike! Keep up the videos :)
Love the Qooder - and that is coming from a Can Am Spyder owner. I am tempted to have the qooder as a back up trike. THere was a plan for an e-qooder - but that seems to have stalled.
I never show interest in bikes and cars before, but I am gonna start my 2B -> 2A journey so I can one day own this bike! cheap dream but I feel like this is a “dream bike” scenario for me haha
Just came across your channel, I love the travel and bike reviews. My 3rd time watching this video because of bro francis, his enthusiasm is infectious 👍🏼. Keep it up, greetings from Malaysia. Hope you and Zar can review bro francis honda nm4.
Make video fz150i please, there's not much video about that bike so I have to learn lots of things the hard way I'm new and need the pros to show me the way.
