This performance was the first time I'd ever heard this song before. Was sat outside during lockdown painting and listening to his live concert and when he started playing this I lost all focus on what I was trying to do and payed attention to what was currently blowing my mind away
He has gotten objectively better at singing since SYL

Except for the highest highs, like in the Vampira song. I searched all his live versions of it, he can't hit that notes anymore ... Sadly

@@mapinguarimonster He still can, but only in a studio environment it seems. Singularity, from Empath, has a few REALLY high notes in the background of the blastbeat section

I have played other DT tunes/vids for friends who have no idea who he is (surprisingly enough) SLACKJAW, is hardly an accurate representation of their reaction. There isn't a genre to pin him to, and that's the attraction.....Devin, I love everything you do, but please continue to tour and honour your entire catalogue, which I know is about 30x larger than your average band. I haven't seen you live and it's on my bucketlist. I hope the set list hasn't changed too much by the time I get there.

I always wanted to hear a high-quality live recording of this song. It's the first song of Devin's that I'd ever heard. I checked him out because he was producing the album Controller for Misery Signals and SYL's Almost Again was the first video that popped up. Been hooked on his music ever since.
Just found out he also produced Misery Signals' first album, Of Malice and the Magnum Heart, too. What a fucking legend.
