Those are some quick times for a truck, especially one with manual brakes, manual steering, and not truly set up to autocross. Looked like a blast.

autocross is so much fun! I forgot you have a crown vic frame to swap under the truck. Get it done! My first experience was riding in a friend's custom frame ,coyote powered f100 and I couldn't stop smiling! My c10 needs more power and shortened before I attempt anything like that, but it's on the list.
This video is great. I love that the truck actually did pretty well on the track. But please get power steering, I was exhausted just watching you steer 😂🙌🏾🔥

For what that truck is and suspension and steering wise that is a beast on the auto cross track. Get that custom crown vic chassis under that and your truck should be an absolute beast. You wheeled that truck .

looks like your having alot of fun. just a quick pointer, less is more on the road course, rool into and out of the throttle and your times will get better. smooth is fast

The great thing about autocross is that it’s the true run what you brung kinda event. You will see everything from kit cars to your moms Toyota Tercel. I still prefer road course but it’s definitely the best place to start racing your car.

I think Craig needs power brakes & steering, a secure battery tray, and probably a sway bar(amongst a few other things) to make his truck better, then it’ll only break half as fast
Hey Craig have you ever thought of electric power assist did it on my 67 f100 used a unit out of a kia soul couple years ago saw it on mustang ran out next day to junk yard works great

50 years ago they used to have auto cross in the mission Valley shopping center parking lot mini coopers were the star of the show, but my favorite was a 63 corvette...around the same time sports arena parking lot also had a couple
We live in the same neighborhood! Watching you take that beast around the track makes me wonder what I can do in my truck? 2006 Toyota XRunner that I rescued from going to Ecology Auto Wrecking. The previous owner had already called them to pick it up but I got to it before they arrived. It is bone stock except the rims and tires and I had to "repair" the front end with zip-ties and bailing wire. It had nasty looking front end damage which turned out to be only cosmetic.
Oh crap, another X-Runner owner (mine is a 2010). Always wanted to Autocross it, they do handle pretty good (for a truck). It is a lot of fun on the backroads around here. I am local and was thinking of signing up for an event.

You started talking about letting your clutch out to fast and it kicks the rear end out. At the same time I’m noticing that to disengage your clutch you need to push your pedal to the floor. You need to cut that distance in half. Even if you change where your start position then te floor is the stop position. Ya taking to long to concentrate on just the clutch. Tens of seconds is a lot…
