You've changed. There was a time where you would show this sarcastic bitterness in your humour and now you're really showing your heart and what you love. Its nice to see.
"being a parent is like having a friend that you love, that you constantly lose and get replaced every few months without you realizing it." this quote is so true. I used to tell my daughter before every birthday, "i'm going to miss the n-year old you so much but I'm so looking forward to meeting the n+1 year old you and getting to know her." And I would always try to say it cheerfully but it would always be with a heavy heart knowing these moments were all once in a lifetime and fleeting.
Your kids are going to be so happy to have all these memories documented with their dad when they grow up! This is literally what I want to do with my kids once they're here 🫶
The kids are growing man and its so beautiful. I feel this as a father. Having kids caused me to upgrade my gear year over year and pick up a few things online when I got better with it. You still added some humor in the heart here. Keep it up bro.
Hey Vu, i’ve been following you for a while now. As a fellow videographer, I’ve spent these last couple of years freelancing for the most part and because of our family situation at home, social media has certainly not been on my priority list. I’ve always been inspired by your work and more importantly, your films; particularly this one. It really hit home in so many ways. I regret not documenting my kids more with my cameras, but rather my cell phone. Thank you for the inspiration you give and expressing yourself through your storytelling. I just want you to know it really does have a sincere impact to people like me out there. Keep up the incredible work 🙏
I love your honesty and storytelling skill. I am pretty sure that your kids when they will watch those films when become adults, they will be so proud of you and all the effort you gave to create them.
Bruhvo! You never cease to amaze with storytelling. I teared up with how relatable you are. Appreciate you for the quality of content. Followed by an explanation of why we get such quality of content.
"Being a parent is like having a friend that you love, that you constantly lose and get replaced every few months without you realizing it." Bro, this hit me hard... It is so true (especially when they are little) and I have never heard anyone every articulate it like this. Thank you! Keep up the good work!
Some seriously beautiful moments there. That Sony ZVE1 is a peach, especially on a lovely sunny day after the snow. You're kids are lucky to have you as a dad :)
Thanks for sharing. My father and I often sat quietly on the porch whenever he was home. I treasure those moments. One of the things he said was that I shouldn't expect fairness as a father, but I should do the best I can anyway. Be encouraged brother.
I subscribed to your channel just a couple of weeks ago since I find your videos informative, honest and let's face it quite entertaining. I realize now I have to add "beautiful" to the + column, since this video is both visually beautiful and emotionally heartwarming. Very well done! Don't you dare ever leaving TH-cam... 😉
Love the footage and story telling Vu! This has remotivated me try to capture more family moments with my A7S III. Those family moments are precious, and like you said fleeting, so we don't want to take them fore-granted.
I've been thanking about the immigrant parenting style you mentioned. I had a similar upbringing. I know my parents did what they thought was best, but I honestly think that the aggression is one of the reasons for my lack of conference. I was constantly feeling like I had to please my mom or that I was never good enough. I'm just now getting over that at 46 years old. It messed up my siblings, too. I might have stayed out of some trouble, but at what cost. Thanks again for sharing.
I laughed soda at my nose when you went off on the "I'm more concerned with..." rant... My kids are 21, 22 and 25... A now two months old and 7 years old. IT IS EASIER with new kids.
Thanks for your heart touching video. My daughter will have the last day of school in 14 months. She did not like to be filmed. But I try not to be regret.
Being a Dad is hard at times and my wife hates when I use the regular lens camera but I love it! I still do have so much old footage to edit and put together though lol 😂
Beautiful... Vu 🙌 Same here I film my kids when I buy new gear and document every year that goes by. I film my sons birth but when autofocus was not that great on camera and you could here the lens focusing on the audio lol video looking like the 90s big ass camcorders . lol hahaha
I lost my best friend recently. She was "I wa woo.". Now I have a new best friend "I lab you." They come and go so fast 😢. Oh well, time to buy another $3000 lens.
@@nVuFilms so I have been struggling with myself and getting back on TH-cam as a father and a full time worker and watching this shows me that I can make content that include my family. Thanks
Nice one, Vu! And I know overheating with the ZV-E1 wasn't a problem in that weather. You probably could've shot all day in 4k 120. Maybe the ZV-E1 should be marketed as the Snow Body 😂. I'm down in Charles County. It's like 10 degrees today. Peace and love. bro. ✌🏾
@ two of three of my kids went off to college and I am proud but not gonna lie the house “feels” very different and very empty unless it’s summer and Christmas when they come back home.
So much of what you said in this video is how I lived my life with my kids over the past 30 years. Very encouraged by this video. Maybe your best yet! Looks like God’s Spirit is working in your heart! God is bearing His fruit through you. I absolutely love the color Grade. Any chance of sharing how you dialed this in?
I thought the 1 in ZV-E1 means it can only record one minute of footage before overheating. Did you use snow in your rig? Please post an affiliate link thx.
