- Octopath Traveler - Warmaster lets you dedicate all your resources to bringing your characters to ridiculous power levels. If you clear the conditions properly, you can expect to hit 300,000 damage in a single turn, which is more than enough to fell even the toughest bosses. On average, you can hit about 150,000 to 160,000 damage.
The party that accompanies H'aanit is meant to support her and ensure that nothing gets in the way between her and her hunt, and I'm happy to say that it's a fun way to tackle the bosses in the postgame area! ^^

Hey all! This video turned out a lot longer than I expected, but I REALLY wanted to stress just how powerful H'aanit can be with the Warmaster class!
Naturally, the damage would be a lot stronger if I was lucky (or is it 'unlucky'?) enough to get hit enough times to end up in the danger zone, clocking in at an impressive 50,000 damage per hit. Enjoy! ^^
Nn Li hey nn li, I’m trying to find the physical belt but I can’t seem to get it where you say it is. At the location you stated, the elderly shopkeeper doesn’t have the physical belt, I did his quest and everything. Are you sure that’s where you got it in stonegard valley?
Btw, where exactly are you?? I've finished all the stories and don't remember ever doing these fights.
Hey just a heads up, he made a mistake in the video. The guy has the Elemental Augmentor and the Mighty Belt. For the Mental and Physical belt if you didn't manage to Pickpocket them from the Chapter 4 boss (Physical Belt is on Primrose Ch. 4 Boss Steal) you can try and get it by Challenging Jan in Noblecourt, but it'll be a lowish drop rate, I think maybe 10%?

The strongest axe you can obtain is the 'Memorial Axe' which has 400 Physical attack, Speed +150 and a chance when using an attack to cause Elem Def Down on the emeny recieving the attack.
You can obtain this once you have finished both Alfyn's and Cyrus' chapter 4 quests. You need to complete two quests which are extremely easy and quick to do.
Firstly, go to Alfyns house in Clearbrook and talk to Nina start the quest 'Zeph and Mercedes (I).' To complete this quest you must either Purchase or Steal the letter that Zeph is holding. Then you must travel to Atlasdam and speak to Mercedes, who you'll remember as the librarian who is involved in Cyrus' chapter 1. Give the letter to her and this will automatically start 'Zeph and Mercedes (II).' Same thing as before, either Steal or Purchase the letter from Mercedes and take it back to Clearbrook to show Zeph.

Thanks to the Memorial axe, it's very possible to hit 90,000+ damage per hit with the Winnehild's Battle Cry. Bosses become about as difficult as regular enemies D:

I got H'aanit right away, i started with Olberic tho, and i realised very quickly that two warriors is overkill in a party...
The strongest axe is the memorial axe at 400 physical attack/150 speed and occasionally lowers targets elemental defense to tandem it into a big sorcerer hit too.
Cyrus is the best character

You can also farm physical and mental belts, just challenge jan in noblecourt(prim story complete) for the former and bishop bartolo in saintsbridge(philia story complete) for the latter
I did Olberic Instead, and I gotta say it’s SO much better. He has a higher base stat of Physical Attack and with the Nuts he can get 999 on almost all his weapons.
Add fortitude to his sub skills, set him at one HP, give him 2 physical belts, Mik and Mak shield so his evasion goes up, as well as silent cape and silent bandana, and I gave him slippery nuts, and on top of that he’s level 85, so he naturally already dodges most enemies moves. Basically, Each hit of Windhelm does anywhere from 65k-99k
Both of them reach 999 on most weapons because they have the exact same base P. Atk stat. H'aanit has more crit though.

i cant seem to find the physical belt there only to find the Elemental Augmentation and the mighty belt instead
There’s something I don’t understand...I’m pretty sure I have the exact same setup except on Olberic, and I’m still only getting 18000 max. Am I missing something?
Any ideas on a therion build? He and alfyn are my favorite characters. Interested to see what you all build therion for
Sneaky X2p not sure about secondary classes for him (I just threw in the hunter skill for him), but I run him as a speedy sp battery
I just can't get out those number with H'aanit
PS: im currently running a main party of Olberic, Tressa, Alfyn, and Primrose, but im still in the air between either Alfyn or Cyrus...
Also, im suprised you arent running second serving skill on yr main attacker. I swear by it...
Didn't give Hannit much chance because I liked Olbric playstyle. Abide, Incite with high HP and crazy damage. I still can't see how hannit can be a better warmaster than Olbric! I think he for sure has the highest physical damage in the game, no?

I'd say it's really good :P
The real magic of the game is figuring out what combination of support skills to use for each character, since you can use them regardless of what class you are ;)
Basically what I use except that I have Therion with Dancer instead of Primrose.
You can still use that setup, though, but I suggest giving Primrose the Thief job instead of Runeblade so you can use Armor Corrosive. It’s especially good if you’ve used Sealticge’s Seduction since you’ll lower all foes’ defense.
This is exactly my build but Tressa with Runelord instead
I had to use the runelord for the letter P boss so even when doing basic attacks he still took 4k+ dmg but I'm definitely trying this

I personally love my God tier evasion/warrior therion I never get hit by any physical AT ALL and I have unlimited SP for my team
Personally I like Tressa as a support unit. I made her a their meaning I can use both Donate BP and Share SP, and with Cyrus she is really good as I can give him a ton of SP
JGage18 Tressa is very good as a a runeblade class. One of the skills allows self-only buffs to apply to everyone. Now imagine what Tressa in particular can do with that in conjunction with Rest and Sidestep. (she's also great in the magical dps area, if that's your thing)

I used the exact gear you did, and reached 900 damage on her with a few weapons! Yet, the max damage I do is 13000! Um, help please...
Did you use the corosive armor skill on thief?
great video as always, just want to know what lvl i need for can pickpocket the dagger from the npc of the cave
I'm actually not sure, but I was level 66 when I pickpocketed for a 15% chance.
im just lvl 27 so i dont think i can get it unless is like the golden axe, but when i get the post game i will try that build
I was able to get where supposed the npc is but noone there cause i think is just postgame npc, the area is 45+, so im still far for can get the secret jobs

Are the stats in this game additive? Damage dealt seems to be the combination of everything you have equipped (That's why Warmaster is so good). But buffs seem to be multiplicative since Cyrus still deals like 1-3 damage with basic attack after physical boost ;_; Plus, my heart is broken when I see the battle-tested weapons in the video... I spent a lot of time collecting Forbidden weapons thinking they were the strongest...
Don't worry about it: weapons are meant to be hoarded and collected! ^o^
As far as I can tell, damaged is based on what your weapon type + skill is, which is why my "Staff" attacks do significantly less than the rest of my battle-tested weapons. I tried testing out some of the support skills and seeing just how much they affected damage, and it seems that buffs have the highest impact (and the Elemental Edge/Physical Profciency skills have that exact quality)
Nn Li Thanks! I did some research on reddit and websites in my first language and it seems that Battle-tested weapons can be farmed from the toughest NPCs in each town(the 10-star old Men and old women). Each one of them drop a specific battle-tested weapon with a very low drop rate.

Galdera haanit setup i used. Lion dance plus divination to haanit armor corrosive to galdera boom 85 to 90k damage haanit
Will this work with olberic instead of haanit?

No. Redeye is more of a demon beast class. It makes sense when you see it. If you haven't already.

I've heard plenty of good things about it buuuuut...
I've tried several times and I've never even gotten a x2 EXP buff! I think the game hates me D:
Jerome Grossley it has been proven already grinding with the jp/exp trinkets and the passives is faster
Nn Li x2 that's lame try x100 I got that I time and I'm able to get 2 divine skills on tressa
Jerome Grossley The quickest way to exp/jp farm is actually have two dancers that are quicker than your one hit KO chatacter and just do the dances if they go before the OHKO character. If they don't just complete the battle anyway. Timewise best stragedy in late game. Full explanation here:
