Levanna,you get it! It radiates from your being. The passion,joy and love you bring to your dancing,is so impactful. You could stop the Ukraine conflict with your positive humanity. I am a 55yr old obsessive who has been collecting records non stop since i was 11. My roots are in ska/2tone,but expanded through my mod mates to jazz,soul,motown,northern soul,r&b. Now i just buy what moves me. Doesn't matter what the genre is. I play what hits me right in the sweet spot,and write,record and upload my own tunes to my TH-cam channel.but if i don't feel it i don't record. This video has inspired me to suggest tunes I'd love to see you dance to. You may,or may not like or know them,but these give me that bitter-sweet overwhelming feeling of intense emotion. Yes Levanna some nice sounds ...and easy on the ear....just love your selection...and you helped me on my " Rehab", I have a bad leg ..( ulcers. )...been having moderate to severe pain for 3 months now, and a part of the healing process is, light exercise ,to aid circulation ,walking etc...and guess what Levanna , I have been an admirer of your dance videos from the start that have been filmed in exotic locations,.....as well as less glamorous settings... which are intriguing.... may I add,....I love the. rhythm & beat that exudes from most of your musical video presentations.....,and you know yourself if a certain record is on the turntable ." Blasting " out the " vibes"....Instantly,... you get that feeling of " Euphoria " .and it;s " Wow ".....from your head to your toes the feeling kicks in ....and you are propelled off your seat onto the dancefloor...and I tell you what Levanna I am the wrong side of 60 and that " Euphoric " feeling ...never,..ever let's you down...I promise you that.. The dictionary descibes being in a " Euphoric " state as quote......" Wow Levanna you certainly were born in the wrong decade, should have been in the 50s or 60s so great you love the music from those days, sounds like you and your mum are so close, should always be like that.
So you spin for a living? That’s fun. Is vinyl expensive because it’s rare? Here in the states I think it’s still fairly affordable. I was driving behind a shopping mall and the used book store was throwing away a stack of about 70 vinyl albums, most from the 60’s and 70’s. I jumped in the dumpster and fished them out (no shame). I play them on a 1950’s three in one console (yes, with porthole tv) that I purchased at an antique store. I will sort through them again and see if I have one you might like. It would be a nice gift in return for all your uplifting dance videos.
