So in the past Holden was an iron works company
After announcing the closure plans in 2013, the final car came off the line in Adelaide on October 20, 2017. A report for the federal government found 805 Holden workers in Adelaide lost their jobs that day and the shutdown came in the same month Toyota ceased production in Melbourne.8 Oct 2022

Holden is such a very rich-storied marque....and one with a unique pedigree too.
I just imagined, if only Holden made their own trucks, vans, SUVs (specially 4wds, in the lieu of the US Jeep) during its earlier years, (specially during the '60s,' 70s and the '80s)....
.......and was also one of the earliest car company ever.......1st founded in 1852 in Adelaide, Australia (as a saddlery company)
........instead of the following models down below:
-SUBURBAN..........badged as a HOLDEN
-JACKAROO........based from Isuzu Bighorn /Trooper
-FRONTERA.........based on the Isuzu MU
-RODEO and COLORADO.....based on the Isuzu TF and Dmax Utes
-SHUTTLE............based on the Isuzu Fargo van
-SCURRY..............based on the Suzuki Carry
And those Japanese Isuzu arent even fully Isuzus. Isuzu became crappier. They went their heads bowed to General Motor headquarters.

D Max stands for maximum density. D Max shares parts from Colorado too. Isuzu and GM has parts similar in their trucks. GM has their trucks with some changes with Isuzu chassis, engines etc, same goes for Isuzu in their trucks they started parrtnering each other since 1971, started introducing first gen Colorados.
