- Buhay Marino showcase the simple yet very complicated life of seafarers on board. Earning dollars is not that easy as everyone think it is here at sea. Dealing with waves, homesickness, and the harshest weather conditions on the planet. But these brave men have only one goal, one purpose and that is to deliver every cargo from one place to another, sacrificing almost half of their life in the sea, bearing one of the most dangerous and rewarding job in order to provide the best life for their families.

Long time ago, i was a seaman. I went countless ports & places all over the world. i know the life of one but it's only a seaman who understand the story of a seaman and ordinary folks can not relate what is it really like to be one.
My advice, fast track your career, save most of your money and invest it wisely. Do not fell into the trap of spending all your money coz of the homesickness/boredom or that's-what-you-deserved and whatever reasons... Do not get old spending your whole life at sea, don't waste your whole life serving shipping companies and made them even richer. You can be rich in your own way.
I ended my career after 12 years when I was a chief mate, I was 33 yrs old. Now I run my own business, own a house and a piece of farm, invested for retirement, and most of all, being with family and FREE like nobody can stop you.
Life is too short. There's too many beautiful wonders in this world to spend with NOT just at sea.
Very inspirational sir. Hardwork always pays the price. I'm dreaming of that life, at least when I reached 30.
Agree ako sa sinasabi mo at walang duda ang pag asenso basta nasa negosyo ka. Yong pagtatrabahoin mo ng 20yrs sa barko as officer, kaya mo makuha ng 2yrs lang basta nsa linya ka ng business. Deskarte lang at try nyo wlang pinipili ksi ang pag yaman lahat pwde basta linyahin mo lang. Dati rin akon 3rd officer ng NYK. Now owner of mining company na nag susupply ng nickel ore sa china. Amen to that. Well, working as a seaman also depends on your family. If they spend your hard earned money like there’s no end to catch up with the Jones, then it might not be worth working overseas.

I cant stop imagining of my self had already achieve of being a seaman. this video gives me some kind of adrenaline rushing through out my whole body saying that i should do everything in order to achieve my dream ☺️

My dad is also a seaman and akala ko kapag seaman ka, nakafocus ka lang sa pagpapatakbo ng barko, I never thought na ganito pala karami ang naranasan ng father ko. I am proud to be his daughter kaya siguro noong nag- swimming lessons when I was in Grade 5 sobrang natuwa siya, maybe it is because water is his bestfriend ^_^ Salute to the editing skills po ang ganda nung mga pasok nung songs and Salute to all the Seafarers!

I'm on my third year as a cadet of Marin Transportation. Excited and nervous at the same time on my journey as a seafarer.
Alam kung mahirap maging marino,my tito is a marino before and my friends is marino also,ang sabi nila hindi madali ang gawain Nila sa barko buwis buhay din,hindi lng un subrang homesick ka din dahil s pamilya mo..pero trust in god lang..

Masarap maging seaman Kong walang alon.😂😂😂.. Sana napanood ng mga asawa na one day millionaire pagka maka tanggap ng allotment para Makita nila Kong gaano kahirap maglinis ng bodega. Para kahit papaano mataohan..
Mahirap din maging asawa ng seaman dahil nangungulila din sila at nag aalala kung ano bha ngyayari sa barko habang sila nasa laot at my bagyo. Nag aalala din naman ako at kinakabahan kung makakauwi bha ng buhay oh dina.
Mas mahirap ang anak ng seaman kasi maaaring maghiwalay ang magulang dahil sa 3rd party

I was a seaman (messman)before. Nag join port ako sa triste slovenia. At hindi talaga madali mag trabaho bilang seaman kapag mahina ang kalooban at hindi mo makakaya imanaged ang problema baka ma depressed..Paglaban lahat ng problema at wag idamay ang trabaho positive attitude..Now i'm in the U.S for almost 10 yrs because na approved ang petition ng aking parents after 11 yrs kaya nag tiyaga talaga ako at hindi ako nag jump ship dahil mas magiging complicated lang. Now i am an american citizen since 2015 and working as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Certified Cardiac Monitor Tech!! Okay Kabayan ingat palagi...

There's a lot of things that you dont know yet when it comes in working as seafarer but more it more importantly ung impact na naidudulot ng family or someone ay nkakadagdag pressure, stress, sleepness nights pero karamihan sa mga seafarers di un nasasabi sa mga minamahal sa buhay kasi ayaw nmin sila mag-alala. So when the time comes that mgmamahal ka ulit ng seafarer try to understand him, appreciate him in every effort that he is giving to you, Love him as your boyfriend and put God in the center of your relationship. I was a Seaman for 11 years as Able bodied seaman in all Tankers Ships and 1 Bulk carrier. Now I’m leaving in Canada and have Family and childrens. One of my favourite is Santos Brazil.my Companies were TSM,,Navix..Troodos shipping.. Maritime Factors...during the 1980s hindi uso ang short hair sa amin...I enjoyed my life when i was a seaman.
