This is the sort of content that I want Nigerians in Nigeria to see, calculate the average wage, and how it goes. So you can see how money goes easily, you can work and work and only have £50 at the end of the month. So it’s not easy giving money away when you are trying to look after your own family.
They think it's easy abroad. They never ask how you're surviving. All they want is money from you who works day and night abroad. If you didn't have enough to give, they'd say you're stingy.
You people should calm down. The amount of "black tax" you pay depends on the kind of family you come from.

I had visited the UK several times before 2010, but decided to stay for a while when my wife went to university for her studies. We had previously been living in Qatar, where I worked as an ESP tutor and my wife worked as an interior designer. I used the opportunity in the UK to also pursue a postgraduate degree, and subsequently obtained a teaching position, which was beneficial for my CV as a Nigerian. After a few years, we decided to relocate to China, as the life in the UK was not what we had desired. Compared to our experiences in China and Qatar, we were unable to save much money in the UK, and the wages were not as satisfactory. Thanks for shooting this video and letting people know all is not that rosy on the other side!
Teachers in UK are paid local wages (no foreign teacher's salary...whereas, foreign teachers in China and Qatar are paid differently compared to the local wages. Besides, there are many other occupations in the UK that are doing well
