- Join me on an unforgettable walk across the breathtaking Dom Luís I Bridge in Porto, Portugal! This double-decker bridge connects Porto to Gaia, offering stunning views of the Douro River and beyond. I’ll share how I conquered my fear of heights as I strolled along the upper and lower decks. We’ll also explore the charming riverfront, walk along the Douro, and wrap up with a not so delicious riverside lunch. Whether you’re a fellow traveler or dreaming of visiting Porto, this video is your guide to embracing adventure and discovery!

Hi Mary, You go girl. You made it across the bridge and climbed up ALL those stairs! Thanks for sharing today. Enjoyed the views of The river.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much, I know right!! 😉
This vantage and commentary are incredible, especially for understanding the terrain of Portugal. Your honesty about climbing the steps uphill inorder to get on "level ground" down hill so to speak is eye opening...thank you! I have a better understanding of the type of exercise and body conditioning that will benefit my movement just manurering the moderate city bustle of Porto...thank you again.
Glad you enjoyed it! You don’t have to take the hard way back up I was up for the challenge but you definitely need a good pair of walking shoes!!
So inspiring…. My travel bucket list is long and Portugal is on it! Thanks for sharing 😊
Yes I have a long one too! 😉
I'm heading to Madrid and Porto at the end of Jan 25. Excited to see it all!
It’s so much to see
