I am myself a Paninian grammarian. I can say with 100 % certainty that this is a non starter. He is claiming that Katyaayan, vararuchi, Patanjali, misinterpreted sutra 1.4.2 . They use 'purva-paksha' from Mahabhashya and start finding the most authoritative of our Grammarians misinterpreting a sutra. The funny thing is that the thesis is in English, and full of "in my view... "statements.

One question I would have definitely liked to be asked, even though we know the answer is : why didn't you do this PhD in India ? Perhaps the answer needs to be heard.
Actually, Times Now, you should set up a debate on this. Sure it will not attract your average minds who come in to get a ringside view of a fight, but you'll do the nation some service.
