Got one in from KC for under 50. Off center on unbox. Released the detent, removed the lock disk and pin hardware, use a flat head to adjust pivot u til centered. Then put disc and pins back i , and adjusted to taste. Now centered, smooth, and drops shut with just a slight shake. i think this one just needs little tlc to get it right.
The silhouette of this knife kind of reminds me of three rivers.

Kinda thought from your unboxing that you weren’t feeling it. I have never handled a good CRKT. Especially now with all the much better selection of budget blades
This thing could have been good but they just did not execute it well.
I hadn’t either until I got the Pilar 3. It’s my dedicated work/beater knife.
It's a cool lock and that's where it ends. Crkt is so hit or miss with qc it's hard to buy their knives. The Pilar 3 is awesome and then this knife is crap. Great review 👍
Could be nice, but your right…..CRAP. It’s a knife for non knife enthusiasts.
Love the shape and I could even deal with D2 but all the other faults make this a no go for me unless it was priced at beater prices lol
