THANKS. MINE IS SIMLAR TO THIS BUT I BOUGHT MINE ON EBAY. THE SHELF IS MADE ON SOME TYPE OF PAPER ON MINE AND ITS NOT VERY STRONG. AND IT SEEMS MINE HAS AN EXTRA METAL ROD. IT WAS A REAL MENACE TO PUT MINE TOGETHER AND I WOULD FIND THE PAPER WOULD KEEP TEARING OR I WOULD HAVE TO RIP IT OPEN TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE ENDS MEET. HARD TO EXPLAIN BUT THE PAPER PART I THINK IS LAMINATED ON ONE SIDE. ID MUCH RATHER HAVE METAL SHELVES BUT I SUPPOSE I CANT COMPLAIN BECAUSE THE SHOE RACK DIDNT COST MUCH. LATER ON I WILL LOOK FOR DINNER TRAYS SO I CAN ATTACH THEM ONTO THE METAL BARS.
I DIDNT BUY MY SHOE RACK FOR SHOES I BOUGHT IT TO PUT MY PIANO SHEET MUSIC ON AND SO FAR 2 PAPER SHELVES HAVE ALREADY COLLAPSED BECAUSE I HAD TO STICK THE PAPER ONTO THE RACKS WITH STICKY TAPE.
