World 8 is so incredible for that one part in the end with the repeating organ that switches key for like 2 seconds. It adds so much more of an ominous and scary feel while also giving a glimpse of hope in what’s coming next. Holy crap the music in this game and the world maps specifically is incredible
World 1: nice theme, basic and calm, feels like home and a new adventure World 2: gets a nice theme and overall feels as if I’m walking through a desert World 3: reminds me of Christmas and winter itself in a good way World 4: just soothing,all I need to say World 5: a perfect theme for forest, also calm and overall doesn’t seem like a full on wild jungle like Mario U, it’s a cool forest World 6: makes me want to hike or go camping on a mountain and explore the caves World 7: feels like heaven, the theme, the looks, everything feels like a good theme World 8: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 World 9: seems like an end and fun world to dance on
Played this around when it first came out as a kid. My brother and I would play it, but I would also play it a ton with my childhood friends. I must have 100% completed the game 3 or 4 times. Hearing this music makes me miss being a kid, the nostalgia is unreal. Thank you for uploading this :)

World 1: new adventure, getting a grip of the game, and generally a rlly good theme. World 2: Wow what a weird world... it was challenging for childhood me, theme is suited to this world but I don't like to listen to it outside the game. World 3: theme reminds me of Christmas. Of all worlds this map is the weirdest as you have to take a secret exit to progress through the 2nd half of the world, and later take a route to the normal exit and go to the castle. World 4: relaxing af. This isn't too difficult but some levels were not an easy experience for childhood me lol World 5: this theme is suited well to this world. Its kind of crazy like Iggy, altho for speed runs this is the world you mess up on, since the Canon is in the 2nd last level 💀 World 6: you realise youve come a long way now, and must scale these tall peaks and avoid the bullet bills. Mortons larger brawn redesign compared to his smaller self is suited to the world. World 7: goofy aah theme. It feels fun, and the levels are easy (except the secret one when u take castle shortcut). Also the tower and castle levels were rlly hard for child me. Boss fights were easy as well tho. World 8: absolute dramatic slapper. You knew this is the end of the road. World 9: rlly nice, altho you knew since not having collected the star coins that you would have to go back and do all the worlds. It was annoying in that sense but with some experience and getting star coins it was quite a good slapper My personal favourite is World 1

I grew up playing this game thousands of times, this was one of the first Mario games I ever played and never have I relized until now, years later that world 9 is a Mario kart rainbow road remix
Hands down* my all time favorite childhood 2D Mario game this is the first game I’ve played with my pals and today we’re adults and still love playing Mario games together
I remember spending so much time in world 5 becuase I would always take the secret exit in 1-3 and go to the cannon. I even pretended to not know the normal exit to 1-3. World 5 is so much more familiar to me than 2,3 and especialy 4. I also always thought of world 6 and 7 of the best world. World 5 has a bunch of really creative levels. There's the one with bramballs which are only in this level. There's the one with the rolling logs. There's the on with the big wiggler cave. There's the one with the enenmy limit plank. There's the one with Jumbo Rays. The tower is also pretty fun. 6-airship has the most fun boss battle with the flying cars. World 7 has a bunch of fun levels like the one with the controllable platform that are a total chaotic but fun mess in multiplayer and the one with revovling around the foos who were created only for this level. I love the skeleton coster from world 8 and how badass it is. It's hard to stay on it but makes you feel so good when you do. 8-castle has the best final boss out of any 2D mario game. The music is so badass. Just wish, you couldn't get far from bowser so easily.

mundo 1:ambiente tranquilo y pacifico de inicio de una travesia, tus ganas y energias estan listas para la travesia de salvar a la princesa mundo 2: un clima desertico que complica mucho las cosas por el calor excesivo, un reto para la aventura. mundo 3: un lugar nevado en contraste con la zona anterior, aqui tu travesia baja un poco de dificultad por los animales y plantas que puedes encontrar. mundo 4:al fin encontrarte una playa, un lugar de descanso y donde puedes recuperar energia antes de continuar con tu travesia, oh te encontraste con una aereonave del enemigo, tu travesia se complica aun mas para rescatar a la princesa y hasta ahora es el reto mas dificil que has enfrentado. mundo 5: despues de reponer las energias en la playa y haberte enfrentado a una aereonave enemiga, llegaste a un bosque, un lugar agradable y pacifico, lo malo es que tiene pantanos al estar cerca a una zona costera, sin embargo su ambiente te relaja y sus recursos vejetales y animales te ayudan a continuar en la travesia. mundo 6: llegaste a una zona montañosa, y ves que puedes ir por las nubes para ahorrar tiempo, asi que ahora se viene uno de los retos mas dificiles de la aventura, escalar la montaña hasta su cima ya que esta repleto de lugares estrechos y peligros que facilmente podrian acabar contigo, pero ahora en mucha mayor cantidad que antes, y en la punta otra aereonave enemiga, esta ves mas complicada que la anterior. mundo 7:finalmente, despues de subir la montaña y haberte enfrentado una aereonabe enemiga otra ves, llegaste a las nubes, un lugar que parece sacado de un sueño un lugar agradable y hermoso, puedes apreciar su belleza y te relajas un poquito, y disfrutas el lugar como una calma y un atajo para llegar al destino, en un punto quisieras quedarte, pero recuerdas por que llegaste, asi debes continuar. mundo 8: finalmente llegaste a la base del enemigo, el lugar es muy peligroso , mas que toda la travesia, pero sabes que esto esta por acabar, asi que con todas tus fuerzas atraviesas toda la zona y sus peligros, hasta llegar a una aereonave donde estaba la princesa, sin embargo la princesa es raptada y termina siendo llevada a la guarida del enemigo, la boca del lobo, asi que con todas tus fuerzas, te adentras a ese lugar con el firme objetivo de rescatar a la princesa, lo lograras, hasta aqui has llegado, para este momento atravesaste todo tipo de lugares, lo lograras? mundo 9: finalmente, salvaste a la princesa, despues de todo lo que atravesaste, ella te cuenta de un lugar magico de ensueño, asi que una vez celebras el regreso de la princesa, vas a ese lugar magico, no lo puedes creer, estas en las estrellas, ves el cielo y lo hermoso que es, un lugar que has imaginado, y al fin estas hay, tu recompensa de toda la travesia, todos los peligros, logros y todo lo que viviste, por fin acabo y te recompenso, sientes emocion, y exploras el lugar, lloras de alegria por lo que estas viviendo.

I just realized the world map for Wven Numbered Worlds has the levels going more northward on the map, and the worlds with odd numbers has them going more eastward.
The nostalgia’s hitting hard, but man, this game traumatized me so bad… It’s hard to not sigh in disappointment when I think about NSMBW, no matter how fun the music is.

World 5 sounds like a regular forest but worn down. After all it was taken over by Bowser. It used to be a wonderful place, but this is what it is now. Eventually, it will turn back to normal, but for now, this is what it is. Thats what i think when i hear the world 5 music.

mundo 8: finalmente llegaste a la base del enemigo, el lugar es muy peligroso , mas que toda la travesia, pero sabes que esto esta por acabar, asi que con todas tus fuerzas atraviesas toda la zona y sus peligros, hasta llegar a una aereonave donde estaba la princesa, sin embargo la princesa es raptada y termina siendo llevada a la guarida del enemigo, la boca del lobo, asi que con todas tus fuerzas, te adentras a ese lugar con el firme objetivo de rescatar a la princesa, lo lograras, hasta aqui has llegado, para este momento atravesaste todo tipo de lugares, lo lograras?
mundo 9: finalmente, salvaste a la princesa, despues de todo lo que atravesaste, ella te cuenta de un lugar magico de ensueño, asi que una vez celebras el regreso de la princesa, vas a ese lugar magico, no lo puedes creer, estas en las estrellas, ves el cielo y lo hermoso que es, un lugar que has imaginado, y al fin estas hay, tu recompensa de toda la travesia, todos los peligros, logros y todo lo que viviste, por fin acabo y te recompenso, sientes emocion, y exploras el lugar, lloras de alegria por lo que estas viviendo.

I just realized the world map for Wven Numbered Worlds has the levels going more northward on the map, and the worlds with odd numbers has them going more eastward.
World 2 is my favorite song from this game ❤
The nostalgia’s hitting hard, but man, this game traumatized me so bad… It’s hard to not sigh in disappointment when I think about NSMBW, no matter how fun the music is.
God world 8 goes so hard

I loved the World 9 Song.
World 5 sounds like a regular forest but worn down. After all it was taken over by Bowser. It used to be a wonderful place, but this is what it is now. Eventually, it will turn back to normal, but for now, this is what it is. Thats what i think when i hear the world 5 music.
