Help, I have a 1998 621C. I have been having some major issues with getting my machine to work. I am wondering if you can help by giving some suggestions, please. I am in Ghana where Liebherr is not common so the technicians are not familiar with this machine. My machine was stalling after working for about two hours. It pretty much became very slow and the controls wouldn't respond. The hydraulic tank and fluid become extremely hot. They thought it was the hydraulic pumps going bad. So they took out the pumps. But only the pressure plate in the main pump was worn a bit. They replaced it. During the pump change, the tech assistant crossed the battery terminals which caused the wire from battery to the starter to melt. We replaced that and it now starts, but the machine is still not moving. We are getting pump and servo pump pressure required, but the machine won't travel. The bucket moves but very slowly. The tracks will jerks forward with travel response but then stop. Just last week, the tech called me and said he has discovered that the foot paddle in the cabin floor has a hydraulic line coming in but the machine is NOT four in one bucket and has NO ripper in the rear. He thinks there is a spool in it which is getting stuck, closed, So maybe that could be the problem with travel and heating. 1. But my question is should that be affecting bucket operation with the bucket working at normal speeds? And I believe it has always been there when the loader was working well, except that maybe the spool is now stock. What could have been opening and closing it when the machine was working ok given it has no ripper or 4 in one bucket if it is the cause? 2. The machine worked fine until the bucket float solenoid valve was preventing bucket movement. Then we unplugged it from the control valve. We were told to leave it unplugged by Liebherr support. Could that have something to do with the overheating we were getting from the hydraulics? 3.Is there some kind of travel solenoid which could have locked up or burnt as a result of the battery misconnection? 4. It appears as if the brake is on when you engage travel movement. The pull lever in the cabin to disengage the brake is releasing in the cabin. Is there a Solenoid connected to that preventing movement and if so, why is that affecting normal bucket operation since travel and working hydraulic are separate? Thank you so much for your help. The only bright spot with my headaches with this machine is that the engine is in excellent condition and always starts right up. It had been replaced before with less than 500 hours on it.
Future press...I had same issue machine would stop no drive to tracks. No dealer support in America. Turned out to be $10,000 Litronic computer...junk! Will only buy CAT...best service support and parts on earth period.
Gives a whole new definition to the term “ drive it like you stole it “ !
I absolutely love watching an expert at work.... Thanks for a GREAT Vid! (Music choice is good as well....) Thanks, Gordon

Do you have still Problem with your machine?
yes, I do. I still can't figure out what is causing it not to move.
Are you sure you have EFFECTIVE servo pressure, coming out of the horsepower control regulating valve?
nice dozer
Not keen on that exhaust muffler stuck out like that, looks cabbaged on
