Modified and Classic Cars SENDING IT Through Cheddar Gorge - July 2020

The action from the recent AdamC3046 drive by car show that joined a classic car meet held by South West Capri Club. With two meetings in one place, the gorge was rammed top to bottom with a variety of modified and classic cars, and this caused quite a problem with the walkers and later in the day, the road had to be closed.

Shortish ways south of Bristol, in the Mendip AONB. It's a B-road, should be easy to find if you type Cheddar Gorge into google maps.
Since it's a B-road the speed limit is mostly quite high for road as twisty as it is, so you can have a lot of fun without going over the limit or endangering anyone.

If people are driving like pricks and endangering other members of public, why wouldn't the police shut it down?
Cheddar Gorge is literally the worst place to behave like an idiot. Narrow road, loads of sharp corners so no visibility of oncoming traffic, and a popular spot for people who want a quiet walk. It's a shame because it's a perfect spot for a sensible car meet, but bellends have to ruin everything.
